"It fits fine, though I think you are built a little smaller and more slender. But it's a good fit." She came out in the blue gown and turned once. "How does it look?"

Tristeza smiled innocuously; "It is a vast improvement," she said.

OOC: OMG, hahahahaahahahahahahahahaahaha. Edit: Oops, you deleted the joke. Aranya straightened the dress, still feeling a bit awkward. "Thanks," she said. "This dress is a vast improvement."

Tristeza stood, "I will leave you to your breakfast, then." she walked lightly to the door, but stopped short as her fingers grazed the handle. "I nearly forgot; we will be sparring in the courtyard this afternoon. The Sea Lord has given you leave to attend, if you wish...I will send a guard up after lunch. If you are disinclined, you have only to tell them, and they will leave you in peace." she left then, without further comment.

After the funeral, Aranya was put back in her tower cell. She silently ripped off the gown Tristeza had given her and threw it in a corner. She donned a sleeping shift instead, and then stood by the window, staring out. But her eyes were distant and unfocused.

The Sea Lord entered her room followed by Lady Martell, his eyes move immediately to Aranya and he bowed, "Lady Royce... if you have a moment."

Tristeza stood behind the Sea Lord, barely visible, near the doorway. She said nothing, but had a look of sad emptahy evident in her eyes.

Aranya turned around and stared at him.

"I want you to know, I did not wish this. Felryn was the one who insisted on the combat." The Sea Lord said, "He was a fool and deserves his death." He shrugged unapologetically.

"He was brave and died with honor," she said coldly. "I will not hear him insulted in my presence."

Tristeza cringed at the Sea Lord spoke; she had seen Aranya's anger coming. It was not hard to predict that a woman in love would defend her slain lover. She bit her lip and said nothing, willing Sergyo not to pour salt on an open wound.

The Sea Lord nodded, "Of course I will save my insults for after dinner drinks. There is news from King's Landing. It seems like some good will come from this fiasco."

The Sea Lord chuckled, "They are going to agree to a trade. For your life, they will commute Lady Tristeza's sentence." He stopped then chuckled, "It seems like Lord Felryn died for nothing."

Aranya listened stiffly, but at his last sentence, her eyes flashed. She crossed the room in two strides, and hit him hard full in the face.
