Too much is happening in unofficial ways and hard to work around what they have. How about Elane saying something to some Royce troops and if the goldsmith shows up they can kidnap the gs's wife and kids, and if the crown shows, we can kidnap the gs if it seems appropriate.

Okay, here's a question: what's our justification? Remember, none of our characters know what Baldwin is doing with Orvil. Their dialogue should not effect our actions, since in theory none of us were there and it was not a public event.

Did that appear on a posted scenario or discussion thread? I must have missed it.

It kind of needs to be out there. I'm only bringing it up because if I were playing Baldwin, I'd be pretty pissed if people broke up my plot based on events we should have no knowledge of. It's not fair, and it would make him less inclined to post interesting scenarios with devious activities.

What would be best is including your "scouting" in your scenario, the information gathering that tipped you off to Orvil. That way Crake can decide to approve or disapprove, rather than just posting it in a discussion forum and having Baldwin object.

None of us should go on this scenario. If our men were to get caught, it could be argued that they were bribed by the Tyrells and Starks. If we were caught, there would be no denying Royce involvment.
And I have to agree with Rhodri here. We don't know that the Lannisters are plotting anything with a goldsmith. Orvil may have been acting suspiciouly but thats not enough motivation for Royce troops to kidnap him in front of Lord Baldwins nose.

Yes, we should wait. Lord Baldwin has been acting very friendly to me, and though he may just be trying to manipulate me, I hesistate to burn any bridges just yet. Lets see what he does next.

I think he would have done that anyways. That's kinda Baldwin's modus operandi.
