The Sea Lord looked back to her and offered a small smile. "I am sorry what were you saying... something about me taking control?"

"I have commanded many different vessels in my career." He chuckled softly and now Braavos is my Ship, and politics my sea."

The Sea Lord shook his head, "He was not truely mad. He acted like that to make others think him crazy, and weak. When he was neither." He paused before adding, "Surely you understand that, we all wear our masks."

"Gallant?" He chuckled a couple times, "I have been called many things; Deadly, Vicous, cunning. I do not think Gallant is one of them." He stands and waves and his attendants rush from the room.
"Leave gallant for your Knights. Us Waterdancers have our own code, it is mostly about winning." He bows to her, as the door closes behind the last servant, music can be heard through vents into the room. "Would you like to dance Aranya Royce?" His eyes bore confidently into her head.

He begins to dance with her, and as in all things he is quite good. He has the grace of Lord, the balance of a sailor, and the strength of a warrior. His smooth Water Dancer moves complement the song, and he smiled with pleasure.

After the first long dance he looked at her and smiled, leaning in he kissed her on the mouth. "Would you like another dance?" She knew he did not mean dancing by the glint in his eye, and other less subtle signs.

The Sea Lord stepped back a calm expression on his face, "You may leave whenever you wish. I do not want to hold you up for one more moment."

The Sea Lord moved to his seat, and served them both cake. Then he sat and began to pick at his with a spoon.

"Lets go back to your original presumption, and just assume I am much, much smarter then you." He smiled calculatingly at her.

The Sea Lord stood and looked at her, "I only tell my friends my plans and intrigues. And you have made it quite clear we are not going to be friends."
