The Sea Lord shook his head, "There will be no war between us." He spooned some spiced shrimp onto his plate. "So Aranya, what have you done for entertainment in our city?"

"That Red Tavern was called the Flowers of Lys, and had a special room upstairs." Sergyo answered, "When they stopped paying their bribes they were promptly shut down." He chuckled to himself.

The Sea Lord sighed, "I was hoping to keep this dinner, personal and private. And not drag all this talk of buying, selling and courtly intrigue into our activities."

"I have not been on the barge in a great while. I feel too exposed on it." He sighed a little sadly, "My palace is large, with many rooms grand enough for even a Sea King." He snorted. "I venture out when I can, I still like to command a vessel and get away occasionally."

Tristeza looked up, almost as though startled; "No," she replied dreamily, "I must not hae slept enough last night," she offered with a shrug.

Tristeza leaned forward and kissed him gently on the cheek. With a weary smile, she told him "Good bye, then," and turned to nod respectfully to Aranya; "A pleasure as always, lady Royce," she said, and departed the dining room in an easy, quiet stride, her steps making not a sound against the marble floor.
