Mors, with a spear (live steel) has walked up behind a turned William Tyrell, who is walking away with a lady at his arm and is unarmed (I am strongly assuming, due to RP. If he is, it is blunted weapons). Mors will attempt to cut him down and kill him immediately.

I have to say it's not that easy in a training yard for a man to simply walk up and attack William. There would be someone else there to stop him or something.

OOC: That is a fair assumption. Although I assumed they were right next to each other, so they would not be involved until the later rounds (if there are some). Also, they are NPC's and I don't know anyone else who is the yard, if there indeed NPC's in the yard. But I will let the Admin's decide after reading the RP or our arguments.

OOC: I did say William walked away from you twice. So you would have some distance to cover.
William would has his sword with him. Though it's sheathed.
William: Master Sword. Bealor Meadows: NPC (His best friend and Sister are the ones being attacked)

There are a lot of people walking around with weapons in a training yard. Mors would not draw attention until he actually attacked William. People will intercede after the second round.

Even if he has his sword, it's not drawn and his back is turned while Mors is lunging at him with a steel spear.
But I think this is the end of Mors regardless. Cool, heh.

Two things.
I don't think Mors would quietly sneak up and stab William so could I have a roll or something that I notice and turn to meet him.
and second. Mors received a heavy blunt weapons wound so doesn't he get -25 to rolls.

It depends how much later this was, because often people have duels back to back (to back) and there are no penalties.

OOC: Ahh, in the fight he may get a -25, but when all he has to do is stabbed a man wielding no weapon in the back, I think he could kill him pretty easily.

Mors raises his spear only to feel a sudden shooting pain in his abdomen. He looks over his shoulder to see the Dornishman Ser Osney Santagar, has run him through. Mors falls lifeless to the ground, and Ser Osney stabs him again through the heart.
"He died in Dorne a long time ago... someone should have told him."
