Benfry cleared his throat awkwardly "I could go, my liege. In truth since the Kingsguard have returned to full strength and your majesty is becoming a King in deed as well as name, I feel that the realm would be in safe hands should I not return. I am no politician but that may actually help to flummox him, and he would find it hard to rile me. Insults and sharp words have little effect on me. And I could see just how close he keeps his prize westerosi harem girl" his eyes narrowed slightly

'Uhh, I support Benfry's statement. Two men of fairly equal station...that way the Sealord cannot boss our representative around so easily."

Aranya gazed at Caron coolly. "If you think anyone can "boss" me around, Lord Caron, then you clearly do not know me very well. Be that as it may, I think Ser Benfry is also a good choice. However, my only concern is that sending the Lord Regent himself looks odd. Your office is too high, my lord. Would the Sealord himself ever come here to treat with you? And if Ser Benfry goes, it looks desperate. If the Sealord decides that we are extremely worried about Tristeza Martell, he might expect a higher price.
"And I agree with you, Lady Elena. Information is a valuable form of coin."

Rickon looked at Benfry nervous, and paled considerably, "Lord Smith are you sure that is wise. I know I have been taking larger responsibilities lately, but I have not made a decision with out discussing it with you. Perhaps it is better if you do not go."

Benfry shrugged "My life is yours my liege, to do with as you will. It's just that if I go, Lord Sergyo knows he deals with someone who can answer his questions directly, without fear of overrule"
"I mean no disrespect Lady Royce, but Lord Sergyo has been here before with ambassadors"

Rickon looked worried, then added, "Lord Smith would it not seem to give the matter a greater importance then we wish by sending you?" He puased and tried to calm himself, "Would you go alone? Or would you bring Lady Royce too?"

"It is of great importance sire, or we would not bother to discuss it in council"
"As for assistance, I had thought to take a few Kings Men with me but force of arms will not prevail in a foreign kingdom should Sergyo plan treachery. That is one of the reasons I wish to go. Lady Royce is proving herself an able aid to the crown. All I can do is stop blades and look imposing. Best I do so in the home of your enemies. If foul play is planned, I shall not go easily, and you will have your cause for retribution should you wish it. Either way, the Lord of Braavos plays his hand if I go. He may prevaricate and lie with Lady Royce, with me he will not pretend so much, nor puff up his pigeon chest to impress Lady Martell" he smiled slightly
