This is going to be Roose's main occupation for the next year. I hope to create sort of Julius Caeser.
You know: Go into the far north, establish strong forts and a warning system. Go into villages crucify (hang in our game) all rebels and their relatives. Impose Westerosi law, gain allies among the tribes.
Then: Come back later as a vetern general with a vetern army, enriched by the spoils of war.

By spoils of war I mean establishing mines in the mountains to the north. Starting a mammoth fur trade, etc. Even in the most barbaric northern wastes valuable things can be fond, amber for one thing.

Yup, that's the underlying reason I'm doing this.
We can reap the economic benefits, and Roose can establish an early warning system.

Pity we don't have Lyas as a buffer for the Others. It would have been interesting to see how he and the Other's would react.

Maybe Marten could help you in this campaign? He will take some Western Knights with him.

Roose should be able to pick you up and bring you with on the little adventure.
I think it's about time Sylas reappears and deals with Karstark and makes preparations for the war.
