The list goes up outside the tent of the Master of Games, listing those who will participate in the races. The track is extremely wide, and leads out onto the bare, bleak headland, stretching for miles. The race will be only over two miles of the track, however.
THE HORSE RACE
Aranya Royce (Grandmaster Horsemanship, Master Skinchanging, Beginner Breeding) Lord Commander Benfry Smith (Apprentice Horse-riding) Lord Oliver Bulwer (Noteworthy Horseriding) Aerie Falgrave (Grandmaster Horse-riding, Beginner Breeding) Ser Grant Connington (Expert Horseman) Ser Mychel Lannister (Expert Horasman) Ser Antony Bulwer (Novice Horseriding) Ser Devon Lannister (Noteworthy Horse) Ser Dougal Lannister (Noteworthy Horse) Brynden Royce (Noteworthy bordering on Expert Horse-riding) Lord Francis Blackwood(Beginner Horse-riding) Ser Martyn Darry (Noteworthy Horse-riding) Ser Galwyn Fell (Noteworthy Horse-riding)
Ser Patrek Redfort is allowed to run on foot beside the horses (Master Speed)

Lord Blackwood falls from his mount, as the suprisingly fast Ser Redfort spooks the beast. Both men are left far behind their competitors.
