Connington strides forward trying to prove his mettle, and Clegane looking rather bored smashes him across the face with the hilt of his sword.

Clegane is getting a little cocky at this point, and Connington manages to get a shot in at Clegane's calf. the Wild Dog howls in rage.

Clegane: 177

Connington moves in to try and take advantage, and Clegane quickly answers with a slash across the Stormlander's chest.

Clegane:195

Connington is thrown off balance by the fierceness of Clegane's attack, and the man quickly finishes with a blow across the man's temple, knocking him to the mud.

Ser Grant gets to his feet, rubbing his head. "Perhaps I will meet you on the melee field, Ser. I suppose I ought to practice between now and then," he said with a grin. He walked off towards his tent, still massaging his temple.
