Skagosi at a tourney? Is that even allowed?
I was under the impression Northmen (even mainland northmen) don't really participate in tourneys very often. I'm pretty sure the practice of tourneys is heavily intertwined with the Faith of the Seven and whatnot.

Good question. Although we know the Starks participated in them (at Harrenhal) as did a Reed (supposedly) and that was not considered out of the ordinary. Also Thoros competed in them quite often, I think. And the northman in Ned's service competed in the Hand's tourney at KL, I think. So I don't know is my answer.

The Starks & Reeds were at the Harrenhall tourney, and I believe like 2 or 3 of Ned's knights fought in the KL tourney. I feel like that's the only mention of any northmen at a tourney. I'm positive no northern houses are mentioned or pictured in the Hedge Knight, but that tournament was at Ashford which is pretty far to the south.

I don't that it "wouldn't be allowed", but I do think it would be considering very strange/fascinating indeed if a Skagosi Magnar and his men showed up at a tourney.

I imagine even less common then seeing a Nothman at a tourney is seeing an Ironborn there, but heck, we're only human, we can't possibly pass up a good tourney to throw our characters at.
