Aranya grew quiet at that. "I was gone from Westeros when Francis did such a thing, but I remember Piers doing it. He had us all fooled."

Her face grew troubled. "Do you think - if he lives - he set the princes loose? For vengeance?"

Elena looked at Aranya, "He did not do it for the good of the Realm. He wants power, if he can not have a stag puppet, perhaps it is time to tied strings to a Dragon."

"All the more reason to kill them...after we capture them and question them," Aranya said.

[Erik]

Lord Erik Coldiron, looking a bit confused, wanders into the doorway.

"Good afternoon, ladies. I'm quite turned around, could either of you direct me to the Small Council's chambers?" He asks.

"This is one of them," Aranya said. "Come in. You're Coldiron, aren't you? I'm Aranya Royce, and this is Lady Elena Plumm."

[Erik]

"Erik Coldiron, at your service," He tells them with a slight bow, before moving into the room and taking a seat. "So what highly secretive matters of state are on the agenda today?"

"The word of a Targaryen prince in Braavos, one of old Maerys' triplets," Aranya said. "When Callen had the opportunity to kill them, he weakened at the last moment and told Horas Blackwood to hide them away across the sea. Now that Horas has died, the princelings have surfaced. Lady Elena was just discussing the possibility of Horas having survived the fire." She explained what Elena had said.

Aranya looked grim. "Do you think this could be true?"

[Erik]

Erik ponders for a moment before answering.

"Hadn't thought about it. But that Horas always was a tricky bastard, wouldn't surprise me. And I've heard the rumors of the Targaryens as well, someone mentioned it while I was on holiday in Pentos." Erik shrugs. "So kill the silverhaired sisterfuckers. That deals with them, as well as whoever happens to be their backers."

"Yes, that was what I thought," Aranya said. "Though only after we wring the truth about Horas out of them, one way or another. I've half a mind to go to Braavos right now and interrogate them."

[Erik]

Erik smirks. "Yes, of course. Hell, I say we just burn Braavos and get the bastards while we're there. The city's been a thorn in our side for too long."

Aranya smiled, but said, "Blame Callen for Braavos' wrath, if you must, but I think that we must take a different path now. What we need is Braavos' cooperation. Without the Sealord's help, we cannot hope to trap Aellion Targaryen and his brothers."

[Erik]

Erik raises an eyebrow. "'Course we can. Why not? Send a few men skilled in skulduggery to the city, have them kill two of the brothers and kidnap the other. No sense in saying anything to the Sealord about matters which are none of his business."

Aranya pondered that. "You are probably right," she said. "We might want to hire a Faceless Man, to make sure we have an assassin who will find the young dragons and kill two successfully as well."

[Erik]

"They're so expensive, I hear," Erik replies, "I'm sure there's a more cost-effective method."
