The Rebel camp is situated on the kingsroad, south of the river crossing it. The 8000 men fighting for the right to rule themselves are gathered here.

Jack instructs the men on how to build the fortifications; they are springing up everywhere. The Stark army will not have an easy time crossing the icy river and reaching the rebel army.

He shrugged. "We lost a few, they lost a few, the boy had enough, went back to hiding behind his men. We are still outnumbered badly, I don't think anything changed from that."

"Yes, friend." Jack leaves and seeks out his son, Dan. They talk quietly for a few minutes before an emotional embrace. Jack returns to camp while Dan seeks out Wat Lumberjack.
