Seaside Path

[Flex]

Along a seaside path, a few leagues from Eastwatch A black brother leads a small group of people. Among them is a little girl with sandy blonde hair and deep blue eyes.

Ryk cursed when Maez Stonehead burped. "Shut up, ogre!" he growled, slapping the large man in the back of the head. They had three score warriors hidden in the bush. Ryk's eyes squinted when he saw the black brother; he did not want to attack the Watch, they were friends of the Skagosi.

He sounded the war horn and his men issued out onto the path, a few mounted on mirrakai, the rest on foot, wielding bows and stone weapons.

As he sees the Skagosi appear out in the path, the black brother soils himself on both sides and runs for his life, leaving his horse and the people he was taking to the wall behind.

The Skagosi immediately moved to chase after the brother. "No!" Ryk shouted, smelling an opportunity. "Leave him be."

He turns to the small band of people and looks them over. Speaking very slowly, in a horrible, guttural version of the common tongue, he said, "People. Drop weapon and food and treasure. It ours now."

Most of the men immediately do as they are commanded, however there is one man, northman by the looks, who stands defiant, as well as a little girl.

Ryk shouts a command and the Skagosi surround the small party. He looks at them for a moment and picks out a few of the men and a couple of the more attractive women. They are dragged off and bound hand and foot.

He looks at the rest for a moment before turning to Maez Stonehead. "Kill them," he says.

[Flex]

The little girl, who is standing near the big stonehead man, suddenly shoots forward, grabbing a spiky rock in the process and ramming it into the big man's leg. She jumps aside and scuttles out of the man's reach.

OOC: Haha!

Cursing, Maez swings furiously at her with her stone club, but manages to catch a smaller boy, standing behind the girl, in the forehead, killing him. Laughter ensues from the Skagosi as Maez clutches his leg in pain.

Ryk moved forwards. "Kill them all, Stoneborn!" he said. "But spare that little girl. She used a rock to stab Maez with stone, did she not? She is worthy. We will take her to the King."

The girl shrieks but one of the Skagosi has allready grabbed her. She screams as she is dragged off towards the Skagosi ship.

The warriors return with their prisoners and plunder and return to their homeland, quite content, save for Maez Stonehead, who glares at everyone as he limps by.
