The smallfolk of Uplands turn up in large numbers, bringing flowers and lighting candles to the Stranger. Lady Haley was remembered as a kind and gentle lady who took care of her people when they needed her. Some old women had tears in their eyes.
At the coffin of the little girl Jeyne, many threw rosebuds, in honor of the little rose who never had a chance to bloom.

William watches the people throwing flowers. The boy is not crying and his eyes are dry but he only stares forward. Edmure his little brother and Lord of Karhold is there and single tears sometime fall from his checks. Arywn and Callen the triplets that survived are being cared for by a Septa.
Tallahar on the other hands openly cries next to the coffin off his wife. His oldest friend Ser Nathan is there standing behind the Dawn Raider. "Why Haley why. You always said you would be next to me forever."

An old sparrow from the village, in threadbare brown robes, came up to Lord Tallahar with a bowl of sacred oil. He touched it to Tallahar's face and smiled kindly. "My lord, she is with the Mother in heaven now, and is watching over you tenderly. And the girl, the sweet child, is in the Maiden's keeping."

"I don't care!!!." Tallahar yells at the woman. He begins crying again, "I don't care... I only want Haley with me." The Dawn Raider's words are little more then whispers.

The old sparrow looked sorrowful. "Our thoughts are with you, my lord," he said. "All of us."
He gestured to the many peasants, all of whom were too respectful and scared of Tallahar Tyrell to approach him.

OOC: Yeah, I just noticed that when Beric pointed it out.
A fat old peasant woman came up with a homemade seed cake, hot and fresh, though a humble dish. "I baked this for you, my lord," the woman said, shy and nervous and scared, but also genuinely kindly and concerned.

Tallahar looked at the woman and was about to go into a great rage when he thought of his wife and her love of people. Nodding to the old woman, "Thank you. Are you a good cook?"

The woman mumbled, flustered that the high lord was asking her a question. Her daughter spoke. "She is good, my lord. Everyone in the village loves her custard tarts and honeycakes. When we can make them, that is." Custard tarts and honeycakes were expensive delicacies for the smallfolk.

Ser Marq came up behind Tallahar stone-faced and laid a hand on his old master's shoulder, "the ones who did this could die a thousand painful deaths and still deserve more, I am your man still, if you have need of me."

Tallahar looks at the old woman and the daughter, "Go to the kitchens tell them I have sent you. Your mother will be a cook and you may find any job that is available."
Glancing at Marq Tallahar nods, "Aye they will pay. Yes I do Cousin. Go with William to Kings Landing he's going to need friends for the task I am to set him."
