Okay, I'm trying to think of a way of saying Sorry to the rest of Westeros, including the crown. Perhaps all the Riverlands lords could pitch in and we could host a large tourney? That way we can show them we're willing to pay reparations and spend money to host a tourney for everyone.
If we have a Tourney, perhaps at Oldstones so there is no castle and lord there, so nobody will think we're going to assassinate them? Nice landscape and stuff like that too, and it will be more like everybody pitched in. Or Riverrun too would be a good choice.

No, that'd be a horrible plan. We'd NEVER be trusted ever again, and we'd probably be smacked down as hard as Dorne. Of course, I know you were joking

I was I am pissed though. We really got screwed over. Hmm, I dunno about the touney. If we have to pay reparations, then we don't want to be throwing money around too much. And I get the feeling that people probably wouldn't fee any kinder towards us. I dunno, I'll let other people get in a word.

I know, I am so pissed that we are so screwed over because of Horas. We didn't even take King's Landing, it was Horas' personal guard that took it. We never fought a single battle, all we did was say "Yes we support Horas" and we didn't even do that much. The Ironborn took Seagard, and we didn't do anything. And everyone says we're traitorous scum, at least we stayed on one side. Both the Westerlands and Mander flip flopped sides the second things got too hot.
I know the tourney wont get people to love us, but if we openly show them we come in peace, it'll better their judgment of us. Like if we have almost no guards and stuff, it'll be saying "we aren't going to assassinate you and we trust you not to do so to us."
It'll just be the first step to making them trust us more.
Also, I had Francis talk to Roland and stuff and I'm going to try to show him not all Blackwoods are traitors. And I'm hoping for some kind of juicy secret information to come my way that I can tell Roland to show him I'm for real.

Also, only House Blackwood has to pay reparations. I was thinking of making this a thing where all the Riverlands lords pitch in to help make it, to make it all the greater.

I'm all for the Tourney idea.

Okay cool. The Stranger said if I make a long scenario about convincing the Lords, I can get all of them to help pitch in for it.
Also, I was thinking of making it less war-based. Like, have the Joust and Archery and Melee, but make the Melee like 1 on 1 duels and the 10 winners or whatever face off in a small Melee. That way its less like war. On top of that we'd have a drinking contest, eating contest, and a horse racing contest maybe? And perhaps a tracking contest of some sort, where we take a few people and have them run out on foot and we give them an hour head start, then the contestants have to go out and find them to win.
I dunno, just an assortment of ideas. You guys got any other event ideas?

Good news, Aranya said she'll loan us money to help pay for the Tourney.
