"Goodbye Lord Dondarrion. Your Highness, would you like to stay for supper? If you've never had Dornish cuisine, you may find you like the taste of it." Qorgyle smiled.
"Will she be there?" Rodrick said, jerking his thumb towards the wine wench.
"Well of course your highness. Shall we dine at sundown?"
"Please." Rodrick said, "I'll return to our camp until then." He followed Dondarrion out.

Dondarrion accompanied Rodrick to dinner, when the Prince returned at night.

There were two places set, one for Prince Rodrick, and one for Lord Qorgyle. Lord Elwood stood and watched passively behind them.
"Lord Dondarrion, a surprise to see you here. It seems my servants didn't set enough plates. Most unfortunate. Hayn, see if there is something left over for Lord Dondarrion." Qorgyle said, gesturing to a servant waiting in the corner, the man disappeared.
"Forgive us Lord Dondarrion if we don't wait, I would not want his Highness first experience with Dornish Cuisine to be when it was cold." Qorgyle nodded, and the servants came, putting food on their plates, from one large container. Ser Elwood sampled everything before Rodrick touched it.
"Whoa, spicy," Rodrick complained, gesturing for wine, the young wine wench who had his eyes earlier came forward, and poured him a tall glass, also sampled by the Kingsguard.

When Dondarrion was close enough to Lord Qorgyle to speak, he bowed first, and spoke quickly to avoid and arguments. "Lord Qorgyle, I beg your forgiveness. I misinterpreted my duties here in Dorne. The sun and sand reminded me too much of bloody times I have not since forgotten, and my mind was horribly absent. I am here for as long as you will let me stay, to help you sort out your own problems." Breck was red-faced, an unusual sight, and did not even raise his eyes to make contact with his host.

"Your Highness should eat that with the bread dippings, it makes it much more palatable." Qorgyle says to Rodrick, before shifting slightly in his seat.
"I had already written to King's Landing regarding a clarification of your purposes here in Dorne, Lord Dondarrion, although I do not yet have an answer, I expect one shortly, although I am sure that your experience will prove useful, whatever the task."

Dondarrion nodded, and stood from his knelt position. He planned to stand place until the servants brought him a chair and plate, whenever that may be, and watched the two men eat but with no appetite of his own.

Rodrick had his wine glass refilled, as he waved his hand in front of his mouth theatrically, "woo, but that is hot. You'll want to stay close by darling, I'll need you to cool me down." he smacked the girl's ass theatrically. Qorgyle smiled, and gave Dondarrion a "boys will be boys" look.
When they brought in the third course, a cold tomato soup, a divan was brought in.
"It's what we could find Milord." The servant said, placing the Divan, which was about a foot shorter than the chairs where Rodrick and Qorgyle sat, but at least Dondarrion could reach the table.

Kaland Stone awaited Lord Dondarrion eating a simple meal with some of the other knights. Chatter erupted all around him but Kaland had other things on his mind. He ate his meal of salted pork stale bread and cheap wine quietly thinking of what had just occured in the Lord Qorgyle's hall.

Dondarrion gave Rodrick a "you-should-know-better" look, before seating himself at the divan. "Thank you", Dondarrion said, smiling to the servant, and began to sip his soup slowly. "Prince Rodrick fought at King's Landing, Lord Qorgyle, I'm not sure if you were aware but both Rodrick and his grace distinguished themselves on the field."

"Your Highness, how valiant. I'm very impressed."
Rodrick nodded, "I'm going to be the best warrior who ever lived."He said, as if it were a simple fact.
"I can see that you are well on your way your highness." Qorgyle smiled.

Dondarrion nodded along. "Is the army outside these walls prepared to march, Lord Qorgyle? We were sent diplomatically, but I don't think Prince Rodrick would be adverse to a rousing rendition of "crush the rebel" if we were invited to do as such." He smiled thinly and winked at his cousin.

Rodrick missed the wink, busy whispering something in the ear of the giggling wine girl.
"They were about to be disbanded so that the soldiers could each see to their lord's keeps. the Rebels do not attack anywhere which is strong, only if we draw forces away do they see room for an attack."

"Listen Rodrick, do you want to take her home?", Dondarrion said, clearly kidding but inside knowing that Rodrick might very well wish to. At least for the night.
He turned back to Lord Qorgyle, "Ser Mintos Ladybright, was he not behind the attacks?"

"Ser Mintos has not been seen since the attack on Lemonwood which killed Lord Greenblood, but it is possible. The Dornish rebels have a sizeable number of outlaw lords and knights leading them, amongst them Ladybright, Allyrion, and several others."

Dondarrion nodded. "Do you have any other leads?", he asked as he leaned forward on his divan.
