As the mountains give way to the sands, Tytos and his compatriots move onward, beginning to get thirsty, and tired. "This is a fool's errand Ser Tytos," Darry complains, but the Kingsguard hushes him.
Suddenly, from pits concealed in the sand, men erupt, pointing bows at the mounted knights. They are about to let fly when they see the rainbow flag.
"Kill them, Kill them all" one cries, but another shakes his head.
"No, They must be taken to Fowler. Throw down your weapons, get off your horses, and lay with your bellys in the sand." says the man who appears to be in charge.

Ser Tytos nods, and steps off his horse. "Men, get off of your horses. Take off your swords and knives, and lay them in the sand. We must show them good faith to show them that at least the Riverlands has honor, if all the other Northern Kingdoms do not." The 10 men all put the weapons to the side and lay down in the sand.

Sack cloth are put on their heads, and the men are taken with their horses deeper into the desert.

The bag is eventually removed, and Ser Tytos finds himself standing before the Stone-Hawk.
"Well now, Ser Tytos, You see a little bit well dressed for another assassin. Can I presume that you mean to actually discuss peace? Very well, I will hear the terms of your surrender."

Ser Tytos nodded. "I have come to discuss peace, yes." He shook his head at the last part. "Lord Fowler, I implore you, find your sense, find your reason. You must surrender, you must end this blood letting. If you do not, I can assure you the armies will continue to take and raze your villages and holdfasts until nothing remains of Dorne." Tytos said sadly, shaking his head slowly.
"Do not let your pride cloud your judgment. Dorne has been beaten, and to ignore that fact is ignorance pride. Mark my words, your army will be defeated sooner or later. Although it will most likely be the latter, is will eventually happen. And all that you will have accomplished by holding out will be the slaughter of more of innocent Dornish villages. Continuing to raid the army's supply lines will only feed their lust for razing the village and slaughtering the smallfolk of Dorne. You must have the sense to step down, because I assure you they will not."

"That is a flag of Parlay, not a flag of 'tell your enemy shit he already knows.'" Fowler says darkly. "You have burned our capital to he ground, and put our small folk to the sword. You and your King have brought us to this. There was no turning back several months ago. Have your lords started discussing who will get to pick the bones clean? Don't I have a responsibility to ensure there are plenty of bones for picking?" Fowler looked at Tytos with disgust.

Ser Tytos looks back sorrowfully at Lord Fowler. "Do not confuse me with the other Lords. I only just arrived to Dorne when you fell upon my army, and you decimated us. I have lost 6,500 capable men, and I am here to get this slaughter to stop. I have led no battles against anyone, I have led no soldiers against Dornish, I have led no soldiers to any sort of fight. I agree with this slaughter no more than you do, I cannot stomach it. I am Sorry for it, and I am here to stop it. If that is not what I'm doing here, than I do not know what I'm doing."

"There than we disagree Ser Tytos, because I am for slaughter as long as they are Northern men. I laughed when the reports came in of your lords drinking poison. and I enjoyed seeing you shit your white gown when We took you in the pass. one hundred years from now, you will still be bleeding in Dorne, our people will never submit to yours. Do you have any real authority to negotiate, or are you simply wasting my time while your friends kill more of my people?"

Ser Tytos shook his head. "There you are gravely mistaken. In one year Dorne will be barren, let alone one hundred. I am ashamed to know the Legendary Stone Hawk is too blinded by his pride to see that his people are being slaughtered beyond any of his abilities."

"Don't be an idiot. If I surrender to you, my own people will kill me and eat my flesh for the sustenance to fight another day. Count yourself lucky someone of my pride is still in command to actually honor a peace flag." he pointed at the dornishman who had caught Tytos. "That man would hang you with your own entrails, and be a hero for it. Regardless of what you and I may think, our people will be at war for eternity. Do you have anything substantive to offer or did you just come to preach? because if you are here to preach, take off that white rag, and become a Septon with a bowl instead of a sword. If you are here to offer terms, tell me what your child King proposes."

Ser Tytos Blackwood shook his head sadly. "I have come to try and bring peace. You spit in my face, but you accepted me nonetheless. I thank you for that, at least. Since you will not accept any terms unless they are in your favor, I ask you that I am released. It is completely up to you, but in dark times like these there must be some with honor."

"As memory serves, generally in Parlay, first one party makes an offer, and than the other party makes a counter offer. You seem to have offered me nothing, so I will now counter offer. I propose that you go to Lemonwood, and tell Lord Alexander Irwyn, that I will meet him squarely on the field of battle, just his force and mine. he wins, our forces will be at an end, and you will have won. if I win, than Princess Tristeza is given rights to exile, and not death, as are any Lords or people who wish to follow her. Ser Tytos laughed, and fell to his knees. "You must forgive me, My Lord. I am still but a man of 25, and ironically ignorant at the very type of thing I am doing right now." Tytos bowed his head in respect.
"I will do just that, and I Thank You, Lord Fowler. What you have suggested is nothing but true and befitting of a man of your stature. I was too frank with you, too blinded by my goal to realize I was doing it all wrong."

"I have no idea what your goal is, but mine is to hold Alexander Irwyn's head in my hands before I die, now go, and deliver those terms. If he accepts, tell him to march his army to Hellholt."

Ser Tytos stood silently, and started to walk away, before briefly turning his head over his shoulder. He said said almost at a whisper, just loud enough for Lord Fowler to hear. "Peace..." He muttered, before leaving.
