Lord Lewys Lydden (gm) vs. Lord Beric Dayne (master, with Dawn.)
Round OneLL: 153 vs. BD: 186 (Average Hit to Lydden)
The men circle one another slowly, getting a measure of their opponents. Lydden attempts to go on the offensive, but is turned back by Dayne's masterful defense. Beric uses the opportunity to press on his adversary, giving the man a deep cut on his upper arm.
Round TwoLL: 174 vs. BD: 135 (Average Hit to Dayne)
But Dayne does not keep the advantage for very long, and Lewys moves in close, deflecting Beric's attacks with his shield and gouging the other man with a stab to the thigh.
Round ThreeLL: 128 vs. BD: 111 (Light Hit to Dayne)
Lewys continues his assault, this time using his shield to ring Dayne's helmet.
Round FourLL: 106 vs. BD: 116 (No Contact)
Dayne wisely backs away, moving to a range more to his liking.
Round FiveLL: 128 vs. BD: 109 (Light Hit to Dayne)
...but Lewys will not be deterred, and he keeps his attacks going. This time, Dayne's shoulder is pierced through a gap in his plates.
Round SixLL: 94 vs. BD: 109 (Light Hit to Lydden)
Lydden's hand slips a bit as he pulls the blade out of the Dornishman, and Dayne successfully plants his swords pommel on Lewys' mouth.
Round SevenLL: 111 vs. BD: 71 (Average Hit to Dayne)
In doing so, however, Beric was forced to move in closer than he would like, letting Lewys again slip his sword into a lightly-armored gap. This time, it's Dayne's stomach.
Round EightLL: 129 vs. BD: 43 (Heavy Hit to Dayne)
The Sword of the Morning's wounds are beginning to catch up to him, and his attacks are now coming slower and slower. Lewys leaves another, deeper, hole next to the last one.
Round NineLL: 159 vs. BD: 99 (Heavy Hit to Dayne)
Despite a powerful series of attacks from Beric, Lydden leaves him with another grievous wound, this time splitting his helmet, as well as his jaw.
Round TenLL: 140 vs. BD: 54 (Heavy Hit to Dayne)
Dayne, though covered in a number of horrible wounds, keeps on fighting. Lydden pierces his chest, but apparently misses the heart.
Round ElevenLL: 188 vs. BD: -32 (Killing Blow to Dayne)
Finally, The Sword of the Morning's strength looks to falter, and his grip on Dawn weakens. Lydden drives the point of his sword into the hole in his enemy's helmet, leaving little where once there was an eye and a brain.
