Dustin's hue was somewhere approaching a purple, perhaps a magenta.
"How, ser, do I know that some other member of your family may not attempt to apply this ludicrous theft to one of my future heirs long after you and I are in the grave?"

Olander Reed withdrew a second parchment from his coat, this one of a grey paper and written in dark, deep green ink. "This," he said simply, and surrendered the document again. It stated in simple terms that any lands of former Dustin and Manderly holdings granted to House Reed for the rebuilding of Moat Cailin would be returned to the control of their original owning Houses.
"It was never my will for ill will to be sown between my House any others. I assure you that a copy of this document has been sent to White Harbor and Winterfell, as well as remaining in Greywater."

The man seemed to blank for a moment, unsure of what to say. "Well I appreciate that Olander. I... I don't know what to say. I suppose a thank you is in order, the kind of thanks one gives a man who sees a stranger has dropped his purse, and returns it, rather than keeping it for himself."

The tiny crannogman nodded simply. "I was paid with the coin from that dropped purse, Lord Harold," he corrected. "It was only just that I set it back in its owners hands."
After he had tucked the parchment signed with the Stark seal, Olander gave a small bow from his waist. "Again, if there is any aid House Reed may lend, it would be an honor to give it, to help restore the north to rights."

"I thank you Master Reed. Please, stay as my guest before you head northwards."

"You have my thanks, Lord Harold; I would be pleased," Olander said. "Though I head for White Harbor next, to rectify the lands of Lord Manderly."
