"Dorne?" Dan asked blurtingly. He could not fathom why anyone would want to go to that desert, fresh food or not.

"The southern kingdoms are waging war in Dorne, the smallfolk suffer even more than us. An entire city burned to the ground...." Wat said softly.

Dan's face hardened at these words. After everything they had fought for, he sometimes forgot that other smallfolk had yet to achieve the same freedom that they had.

"The wolf already pounces on burning pitch. If we leave capable commanders here, I believe we can form a foothold in Dorne without fear of losing the North."

Wat frowns "It would have to be after all the fighting. With all the killing going or we wouldn't be safe. I have such a commander however and he is well loved by the people."

"I do not agree... they require hope now more than ever before cynicism sets in. Whatever the outcome of this meeting, I intend to leave soon for what remains of Sunspear."

Dan shifted uncomfortably and waited for his leader to speak.

Wat thinks a bit. "I originaly wanted to help the people of Stoney Shore, but I see that it is a much larger picture, and even bloodier than I could ever imagine. Dan, how would your father fare in charge of the Stoney Shore? I have heard great things about his work in Slateville."

"My father is a great man, and I love him fiercely. He speaks of you often, Lord Steward, and I know he would carry out your orders to perfection," Dan sound firmly. "He's not afraid of a fight, either," he added, grinning proudly.

Wat manages a smile "Very well I leave your father in charge of Stoney Shore and my wife Pia. Maester Coleman will be a good advisor, Wat the White and Wat Lumberjack will also stay. The Brown will come with me to Dorne. We shall have to speak with the leader of the other revolts before we leave."

Dan look concerned, but nodded his understanding. "You will keep my father informed, milord? About decisions? He's a fighter, but he hasn't been a leader like you have. Slateville is one thing, but our whole land is another level of stewardship."

Wat smiles. "yes letters will come, there's also books in the solar now. I heard that your father finally learned to read. Coleman also has my absolut trust, he will not lead Jack astray. You will have to ride back with the news after the meeting is done"

Dan nodded, proud to be entrusted with such a mission, but excited and nervous also. He knew something important and potentially revolutionary was stirring. He turned to the bar and ordered an ale.

The room went dark and all around Pylose peopel were frozen in place. A woman leaned in behind Pylos and whispered in his ear. "Fool of a fool...what are you doing?"

Everyone stares at the strange woman as she leans to talk to Pylos.
"Get a room you harlot!" a man chuckles, the rest of his drunk friends guffaw.
