Guys, I was thinking. They are going to choose a bunch of new peopel and stuff to high positions in the new meeting at King's Landing. We need to try and get at least one person on the council. Royce OOC promised as much when I was conducting the negotiations with him towards the end of the war. Who do we want on the council? The West should have at least one person. And what position?
I'm thinking we should get someone as Master of Coin, seeing as we are already a rich kingdom. We could quickly dominate the trade and income aspects of LoW, in my honest opinion.

We have to think first about who will be the new Regent of the West if Maurin is removed. Varner said that he's the Smith's RL friend so they can get him to come back if need be, but I feel like someone else should be Regent if he's not going to be active.
Since Marten is on the run, and he's the only remaining Lannister PC then the Regentship would pass either to an NPC or it would go outside of House Lannister. There are only a few Bannerhouses that would be acceptable as regents, in terms of status. Lydden, Brax, and Lefford are the Great Bannerhouses of the West and choosing a non-Lannister regent that is not from one of those three houses would't be acceptable in the public eye.
As for the Small Council, I think it would be better to try to place a westerman in the Master of Whisperers position. We're already rich in gold, we don't need more of that, but knowledge is equally valuable in Westeros. The Master of Laws might be good too, to get me off the hook, but I figure I'm pretty much safe unless Felryn decides to drown me while he's in the Arbor. Master of Ships is unimportant I think, and the Grand Maester and Lord Commander positions are filled. The King will need a Hand, however, although I feel as though Benfry already has someone in mind for that position. Irwin perhaps.
Mayhaps we sould also think about placing men on the Kingsguard, if possible. That won't benefit us politically, but it will make us look good to be seen as contributing to the King's safety and such.

Wise words, indeed.
Do you mean Cedric being inactive and being Varner's real life friend? You said Smith and for a second I thought Smith had left the site. Whoo, I about had a heart attack.
As far as NPC goes, Lefford certainly seems like a great leader and a good choice for the Regency, but we don't know if he is a good steward in peace time, or just a great general. Lewys would be the best choice of our PC's right now, but he is quite young and may be reluctant to accept such a responsibility. Brax probably wouldn't be a good choice, just because he was in the Melee (even though he was innocent) and there is a ton of controversy around that right now.
I guess it depends on if we are going to go NPC or PC. NPC, I like Lefford, or maybe someone else we haven't brought up (Westerlings or Marbrand?). PC, I like my own character. He will do a good job, but isn't ambitious.

I meant what I said, Maurin is the Smith's friend IRL so they can force him to come back but I don't see the point in that. Cedric has just been inactive since early January.
Lord Brax was not in the melee, was he? I think it was some other Brax. Lewys doesn't deserve the Regency, he's a bastard & sellout.

He definitely doesn't deserve the Regency. Neither does he IC particulary want it. But we don't have a great pool to choose from either.
A bastard- obviously not. A sellout- How in the hell is he a sellout? He agreed to continue the trial and possible execution of a murderer who later confessed. I would call that the right move, the just move. Punish the murderer.
"A sellout" says the man who murdered someone in a fair fight and then told on all the people that was in on it with him. You can call my character unprepared for a Regency, and I would agree. But he is an honorable character, and I'm tired of you trying to twist the truth.
Call me, the actual person, a bastard or sellout all you want, but not my character, who was actually in the right.

If you always had so little to say, I would be much happier.
At least I know what kind of person you are now.

Whatever man. I imagine that life must be pretty boring if you can't take a joke, huh?

You keep confirming it.
What was your joke?

First of all, confirming what? Your opinion of what kind of a person I am? That sounds like something that will be really important to me, I'm sure to lose sleep over it.
My joke was talking shit about Lewys. Perhaps I could have followed the sentance with an 'lol', but I didn't feel that it was totally necessary, but you don't have to whine about it like a bitch.

HAHA.
"Fuck you, Lewys."
"Fuck you"
I seem to remember somebody saying that to me about something that happened IC. Seems like you can't take a joke, huh? Bitch.
The kind of person you are is someone who prod and talk shit and prod and test someone's patience as long as they are content to just laugh it off. When someone says something to you, you stop being so brave and say "oh man, its just a joke man, its just a joke." Bitch.

Yes, that's absolutely it.
I prod and talk shit and make jokes because I like to laugh and I like to make other people laugh, although as long as I think something is funny I don't give a shit what anyone else thinks for the most part. When I insult you and it's not a joke, I won't claim it was a joke. I wasn't joking when I said fuck you, for selling my character the Ironborn, because at the time it looked like you were condemning my character to an instant death, which is gay.
I obviously wasn't being serious when I said that Lewys is a bastard, since his parentage is documented, so you'd have to be a retard to claim that I was actually trying to say Lewys was a bastard. I called him a sellout because he sold his fellow westerman to the enemy that we both have fought for thousands of years, when the whole time Marten was specifically talking about the west sticking together and backing each other up.
If I say something completely inappropriate, and I can see that someone is genuinely upset by it I'll come and apologize and whatever, but 80% of what comes out of my mouth has a humorous cast to it and should be taken with a grain of salt.
But if I make a joke and someone just has no sense of humor about it, they can suck my dick. If they want to come talk to me about it, they can, and I'll probably crack a few more jokes. I've had people take swings at me before because of it, but that's life and that's who I am. You can either deal with it, or not, but when you're whining about it like a little bitch is pretty annoying and I don't really want to have to listen to that.

Like I said, you said fuck you several times, something that sounds to me like whining like a little bitch.
I never said fuck you. In fact, I let you make insults and what not for two weeks, thinking you'd get over it and eventually move on with your life. Saying "sellout" every once in a while doesn't sound humorous, especially when your saying for about the 100th time to the same person when nobody else is in on the conversation. If that is your idea of a sense of humor, your an idiot. Hell, I even apologized when none was needed after it happened, just to make you a little less upset about something that happened in game. And don't bring Marten into this--- you sold him out, when you and him were on the same plot. Lewys didn't have anything to do with it, and barely knows your character through correspondence and has maybe met Marten a couple times. And had no knowledge of the murders of innocent people.
Like I said, when you won't drop something, keep bringing it up, say fuck you and whatnot abotu something that happened on a game, you sound like a whiny bitch, especially when you back down when someone confronts you and says "its just a joke man". Thats cowardly. Even on the internet, where arguing like we are right now is dumb.
