So well there's like three main branches of Royce, Moon Gate, Runestone and the Eyrie.
Well the Eyrie is ofcourse Rhodri Arryn's children though Yohn Weirwood wouldn't want to inherit. That leaves their daughter, need to do something about her.
Odhar is Lord of Runestone and well Roland will inherit that.
So who is off the Moon Gate, would that be Jon Royce(dead) brother to Lord Edric Royce and pass on to Lancel if he's still around or Brandon Stone if he gets legimatised.)
Then there's the Royces of Duskendale (gone) that is now ruled by fanatics. Brandon could possibly soften them up as he's also a follower of Rh'llor

Good point on Rhodri's daughter. Yohn woudln't want to inherit, but his son (should he have one) might. The Royces of the Moon Gate are a seperate branch of the family... Like split somewhere up the three and only nominally related as distant cousins to the Royces of Runestone. Royces of Duskendale is the result of something that caused Aranya and her dead husband, I believe both Royce bastards, to become lords of Duskendale. I think we should let that one be, so to speak. Let Aranya's seed die out of the game, and not treat that like a Royce holding (particularly because it's in the Crownlands anyway)

Well if Yohn doesn't want to inherit we could always make him write a document saying that him and he's future children will never have any claim on that.

Yeah, I can't decide what would be best-- If we keep the Arryn family around to make it more interesting and to keep Royces from owning everything... Or if we just move the family seat to the Eyrie and let the Arryn's die out again.

Well I guess Saella could marry and keep the Arryn name, but that'd make some non Royce lord paramount if she doesn't marry someone in the family

hehe, well that's one thing... I don't intend for the Lord Paramount title to revert to Arryn's no matter who is Lord of the Eyrie.
btw, concerning our other thread... if you would like to take over a kind of master of whispers position for the Royces, you're welcome to.

Sure I could do that, establish something in the Gates of the Moon, then the rest of the Vale, and something at the Red Keep depending on how the war ends.

Okay. Only thing is you'll have to pass Odhar's loyalty test... Nothing official, he'll just have to believe you serve the family. I'm trying to think of a task that he could start you out on, that would make sense as an "entry-level whisperer."

hehe good point, another point is that I saw him on the way to Tedmyn's Down. But by all means give me a task so that I may write a scenario and gain skills
