The Summer Isles armies dig in and send out scout parties further south.

Arerya walks out onto a raised platform at the city square. "Citizens of Yeen! Good people of Yeen! You may see what I have done as a conquest, some sort of takeover that will cost you everything that you have worked for. It is not! Your lives will continue in the same manner that they always have, save your ships will bear the flags of the Summer Isles, and your goods will be said to come from the Isles. Nothing will change! Rest your hearts and minds, and I urge any who are worried to come speak to me or one of my advisors."

He walks off, away from a crowd that seems pleased with how things have turned out.
