A work in progress... but here is a teaser. It is the year 505 after the conquering of Westeros, in the second century of the reigning House Baratheon. The current king is Rodrick Baratheon II, a middle aged man ruling the realm during a new golden age. If there are tensions between the houses they are secret to all but themselves, as great tournaments occur in keeps all over Westeros and an age of prosperity has arrived for (almost) everyone.

Which house is Paramount in the Riverlands? Have the Tully's been restored to Riverrun, or does House Baelish (based at Harrenhall), House Frey, or some other House rule the Riverlands?
Otherwise, I assume the Martells still run Dorne, and the Greyjoys still rule the Iron Islands. You've made it clear House Royce rules the Vale -- am I correct in assuming that House Arryn went extinct shortly after the time of the novels?

Tully are still barely in power, they have a few members left. And you are correct about everything else. We shall say that Lysa's son became Lord Arryn and had only one girl, who married a Royce heir. Therefore it was decided that Royce would be the next Lords Paramount of the Vale as they had the most Arryn blood.

The Small Council, en route together to King's Landing to discuss with King Rodrick Baratheon, were attacked by an unknown brotherhood of bandits. All but the Master of Whisperers, who was not present, were killed and looted. Two members of the Kingsguard had been assigned to protect them, and were also killed in the fight. This leaves all but one spot empty on the Small Council (aside from the position of Hand), and two positions of the Kingsguard open.
