"Well, I have brought 5000 Knights and mounted men North, and they are all hungry for glory and adventure. They are not going to wait for long, not in this cold."

Hendry Dustin laughed. "By all means, we shall leave immediately. Our most important men are here." Hendry says with overwhelming sarcasm.
"And I suppose we will be conquering the Wildings while we are searching for Benjen Stark?" He asks Marten, also looking at Roose from the corner of his eye.

Feld nods to Marten. "Lannister." He says coldly.

Roose looked from eager head to eager head. "This group of five hundred will be as much a scouting party as a search party. We will look for and mark possible encampments, hunting grounds, defensive positions and places heavy in wildling presence. In the mean time the army will move beyond the Wall and establish a forward encampent at a small village just a little ways north from here. Supplies lines shall be established by our representative from Walder Frey and Mathis Rowan."
Roose wheeled his horse to face Edmure Karstark. "Take your six hundred and scout the eastern coast and mark any potential landing places."

"Fine let's go kick some Wildling ass." Feld laughed as he pushed his horse to move.

Edmure bowed his head and rode through. Soon the Karstark men were far in the distance riding close to the Wall.

Teffaron exits his quarters and comes to roose's side he asks "will it be long before we ride out with the main army, a man could go crazy just standing here for days."

"Good to see you here, Lord Marbrand. You are one of few actual Lords that came North." -Marten speaks, staring at the experienced Lord.

A tall Free-rider walks up to the lord Stark. Going down on one knee he says " M'lord Stark, I am Linus of King's Landing I came with Lord Lannister but i would be honored to sever you. For the right price of course."

Roose Stark nods. "I'm sure you can take up your price with the quartermaster after the expedition is over. Unt-" He is cut off by a loud chorus of northern horns. Soon the entire Northern army is moving underneath the Wall. Within five hours it is through entirely and marching north. The Lord of Winterfell sits on his horse, watching them pass through. When the last of them are on the other side he looks down to a black brother. "Give my regards to the Lord Commander. Despite what he may think of this bastard," He pointed to himself, "I'll still be sending him messages and reports."
He wheeled his horse around. "What we do...echoes in the land of the old gods. Riders, on me!" Roose drove his heels and spurs into his horses's flank, and took off, heading north.

Flying past them all is a black flash. Blizzard, Roose's direwolf, comes streaking past, running up and down the length of the army. The men raise their arms and voices, the cry ringing out.

Hendry Dustin rides alongside Roose, grinning at the Direwolf. "Quite a pet you have there, Roose."

A slight smile appears on Roose's face. He slows his horse, conserving speed, down to a canter. "He found me, somewhere below the Neck, but I think he had been following the camp for a month."
