Ser Tommen Falastur was one of the knights who had been stirred by Marten Lannister's speech and had resolved to go north with the man. He was the third son of a minor house sworn to the Farmans of Faircastle, who were in turn sworn to the Lannisters of Casterly Rock. Ser Tommen's eldest brother stood to inherit the meager Falastur lands, which was ruled out of a holdfast while his second brother was the second in command aboard Lord Farman's own warship.
Ser Tommen had travelled to Wall, which was ten times as big as he had ever imagined, and made completely of ice, and now sat in the camp of the Westermen, waiting for Marten's orders about where to march.
