"Always a pleasure Lady Lannister." Piers smiles his rougish grin, "I have not had a chance to inquiry about the young ladies health. I do hope you are well?"

Benedicta smiled. "As well as can be expected," she responded amiably. "It's too cold, and the Eyrie has too few handsome, available boys, otherwise I have been well enough."

"Well with your beauty I am surprised men are not climbing the icey mountain to court your delicate hand." Piers laughed, "I would think all the Westerboys would know the wisdom of placing a golden ring on your golden finger."

Benedicta grinned. "They can try, but I'm afraid that my appetites have swollen my hands." She showed her dainty little fingers. "A ring would never fit me."

Benedicta looked at Piers. "Can't claim to be surprised," she responded. "I was honestly surprised when you called me here; was it just to waste my time?"

Piers shook his head, "It was to give you an honest chance to claim it. It has been a long time Benedicta. And I loved your father dearly."

Benedicta shrugged at Piers. "Either way. So who is it?"

"We dicided on Lord Banefort." Piers watched her reaction carefully.

Benedicta chuckled. "In other words, you're taking the compromise candidate," she said, considering. "I'm not sure the West will support him, however. He was too tied to Cedric, and furthermore, almost none wish to see House Lannister overthrown and succeeded."

"Banefort is just the Regent. Jeyne will still be the lady of the West." Piers replied.

Benedicta laughed. "Indeed. He'll just be the widower who happens to have the authority to choose who she will marry, and thus whose name her child will carry. Or was there something beyond the regency that you decided, as well?"

"Nope, that will be his duty." Piers replied.
