Roland kneels before his lord. "Lord Rhodri, the Lord Regent bid me to bring the King and Lady Bettley here to the Eyrie. I believe Piers will be with us soon as well. I left Ser Jonas Waxley and 350 men behind at Bronzehall to keep up appearances while we made our flight. I must admit, I do not understand the circumstances, but know that you would have me serve the Iron Throne and our ally, Lord Bettley."

Rhodri looked distant, as often he did of late. "Ser Roland, please stand." He stepped close to his cousin, "I do not understand them either. I have heard much of the troubling news, but the Beetle did not tell me you were coming, only your raven did. I guess we shall await him here to better understand."

Rhodri stands and waves to the Regent. "Piers, welcome to the Eyrie. Now, tell me, what is all of this about?"

"I was worried that Horas tried to kill me. So I ran...." Piers shrugs apologetically. "With him beating me here with so few men... well that is interesting. Deflates that idea a little."

"Yes. That is an issue we must resolve. I received a raven from gulltown that the Hand came seeking you, before you arrived. He is currently at Grafton Manor in Gulltown. What shall we do with him?"

"Lets see him. But maybe a breif visit to your cells would be a learning experience." Piers replies before going to see his wife and daughter.

Gamlin is escorted with four guards to Piers. "Are you the Piers fellow I've heard so much bout?"

"Perhaps... I can speak to what you have heard. If it was about a devastatingly handsome witty Regent with a mind like a steel trap, then yes." Piers smiles wildly, "If it was about a lowdown, sneaky, crude womanizer with a dagger sharper then a diamond, then also yes."

Gamlin grins at the mans jest. "I'm here to propose a minor allegiance of sorts. As you and my leader seem to have the same enemies. One right outside the Eyrie I believe."

Piers nods knowingly, "Your master is wise, invisible, inaudible, intangible and not here."

"Oh not quite, he be just cautious. My master as it were as I doubt we got much to hide now is the not so honorable Lord Lyas Bolton." He looked at the man to see his reaction to the name. "He believes you have the boy king and that you are smart enough to get rid of Horas if given time and means to do it. I'm supposed to tell your lordship that you welcome in the North 'specially as things seem heated up here now."

Piers leaned forward with a sneer, "Are you implying that I need to run away. That I do not control the Kingdoms any more?"
