Okay my fellow Far Reachers... What now? Our crucial entrance to the war, and the fact that we took minimal damage has boosted our region's political influence. What do we want to do with it? What should our goals be as a people? We've concentrated on economic recover and unification with our road building scheme. We'll have Francis' position on the small council as Master of Whisperers to press our case, and we've rescued Peyton Redwyne and Alphonse Florent, (thanks to Oliver!) If Irwyn can positively handle the Northern Lords that will help give him a boost, than we need to get Oliver better acclimatized and start his rise to greatness as well. soo... thoughts?

Hmm. Apologies for coming back and reading this message a month later Good to see that Lords Redwyne and Florent were returned. Makes me feel all fuzzy inside. As for aims? I haven't got a bloody clue. I've been out of touch for too long. I think Oliver needs experience relevant to becoming a lord. I'm seriously considering the sad and lamentable death of Lord Jackson Bulwer sometime in the near future when I feel the character of Oliver needs a kick up the arse. Would a funeral of such proportions draw many of the Far Reach's dignitaries? I'm guessing it would, so therefore I should probably time that particular unhappy event with when we hit a lull. In other news, we're rocking the melee.

A moment's silence for Ser Torn.

Thank you Ser Oliver. Lord Jackson's death would certainly draw most Reach Lords for his funeral I would think. In other news, We'll want to secure our coast from these Red Dagger pirates and possibly the Iron Born as well. Blackcrown is on the sea so if Oliver wants to take an active role in patrolling our coast I'd be supportive of it.

Cool. That sounds like a plan. I think I've said somewhere that Blackcrown maintains a small fleet.

We also do not have any players with Naval combat leadership.

Sorry guys. It looks like you'll have to fight this battle without me.

We also do not have any players with Naval combat leadership. If I wasn't busy trying to gradually kill off Lord Jackson Bulwer then I probably could have wheeled him out as a naval commander. Alas. I have a slot for a 2nd open at the minute, which I could perhaps use to take on a Redwyne? Perhaps the youngest brother Barris? I could give him noteworthy naval leadership and perhaps work him up with a few scenarios? What do you think Alex - would I be able to get him good enough in time?

It would be worth a try.

guys, I'm a new far reach player, and my second, ryam redwyne, is noteworthy naval command. Maybe i can raise that to expert, too, in a scenario or somethin. My first is the new lord tarly, who is a staunch supporter of lord irwyn and a fiery opponent of the usurper, horas blackwood.

The Heir to Peyton is actually Foster Redwyne. The Redwyne's actually have a fairly prolific family tree.

hehe. It happens. We try not to let previously created NPCs get in the way of PCs, although I think with both you and Bulwer playing Redwyne's it might be best if neither of you were heirs.

Hi Robb, great to see another Far Reacher. I don't actually have a second at the moment, I floated the idea of taking the youngest Redwyne brother but in the end I just plain couldn't be bothered. So feel free to take whichever Redwynes you like - except for the youngest daughter Bella - I've claimed her as Antony Bulwer's wife so will probably NPC her.
