//////////////////////// Ser Oliver Bulwer and the group of Bulwer and Redwyne men who accompanied him on his diplomatic mission to Storm's End make a stop at Horn Hill on their way back to Oldtown. Their arrival comes mostly unnoticed, they are lost amongst the hundreds of tents housing the army of the Far Reach that is camped here.
Ser Oliver seeks out Lord Alexander Irwyn.

Ser Oliver Bulwer is brought to a tent surrounding the keep at Horn Hill. While a room is available for him at the Keep Alexander prefers to sleep in the field.
When ushered in Lord Irwyn is looking over a large model of the surrounding countryside it is not perfectly to scale but provides a decent lay of the land from the keep at Horn Hill to the Mander river.
Alexander looks up when Oliver enters.
"Oliver nice to see you, last we met was at the conclave I believe?"

Oliver smiles. "Yes my lord, it is good to see you also. And yes, at the conclave. I've been between here and the stormlands for the past few weeks, but you were there - you already know that. How go the preparations? Any news? I've been out of the loop for weeks."

Alexander shakes his head, "News is a precious commodity these days." he laughs. "Preparations are going well here the men are in high spirit allthough they are anxious. Speaking of news, what information do you bring from Prince Andry?"

Oliver nods. "I did not get to speak with Andry himself, he... was not home." He winked.
"Instead, I spoke with the man he had left in charge at Storm's End - Ser Garth Horpe. With hindsight, I believe that this was more profitable than speaking with the prince himself. In Horpe's words, Andry knows that he is not a diplomat so he relies heavily on advisors. It is one of his close advisors that I have spoken with." He swallowed, clearing his throat. "Basically, the door is open regarding negotiations of any kind with Prince Andry. If we were to ally ourselves with Prince Andry, I get the impression we could pretty much name our own terms and not meet much resistance. I brought up the prisoners Lords Redwyne and Florent - the man seemed dismissive, as if their release would come as a matter of course. What the rest of those respective houses would make of my news, the gods only know. I have chosen to be selective with what I have told the men I travelled with - letting the Redwynes know of this might.. disrupt things. I will consult Lord Tarly on how to proceed.
Indeed, my lasting impression of my discussion with Ser Garth is this - our dear prince is almost desperate for allies."

"Desperate you say?" Alexander thinks for a second. "He may feel a little uneasy now that he is in open Rebellion, but I would think he would feel more comfortable with 20000 Dornishmen making their way through the Prince's Pass. That would put his total army to around 50,000 men."
Alexander looks at the model and scratches his head, "an army that size would destroy us."

"To seal the rebellion however, it is not the Far Reach that he needs to defeat. One has to imagine that the Reach, the West, the Riverlands, the Vale, the North - they will most likely not take kindly to a usurper such as Andry. Yet, add the troops of one of those regions to his army... and well, THEN perhaps he will sleep a little easier."

"Prince Andry promises many things, if he delivers on half of his promises those other nations will feel well sated. Why should they care who advises young Rickon. My only concern is that Bravos pushes this plot. To have the Lord Regent of Westeros a lap dog for those insufferable foreigners is almost bad as having Princess Emelia in charge of the moral uprbinging of a King." Alexander shudders at the thought.

Oliver shrugs. "I shall see what Lord Tarly has to say on the matter. Now my lord, the reason I came here - I served you as adjutant before the conclave, now I have no duties upcoming, I shall serve with the army of the Far Reach. My question is this - will you require me to serve you again as I did before?"

Alexander looked around. "Ser Oliver, your talents would be greatly appreciated. I could use every able bodied man in the Far Reach and still not feel comfortable with our situation. If you need to report your information to the Lord Regent yourself, then your position will be waiting for you when you return. If not feel free to use the Maester to send a Raven to keep our Lord Regent informed. I am not sure when we will be required to march so I can not guarantee you would be meeting the Army here if you travel to Oldtown.

"I will be honoured to serve you again my Lord. However I must go to see Lord Tarly in person, a letter alone will not suffice. It should not take overly long - I do not have any other business to conduct at Oldtown so I shall return to serve as soon as possible, whether that be here or on the march."
The next morning, Ser Oliver leaves the encampment around Horn Hill for Oldtown, accompanied by half a dozen Bulwer men at arms.

The Camp is busy when the Adjutant returns, thousands of ox and horse carts are being filled with provisions and equipment. It is clear that the Far Reach Army is preparing to move out. Lord Alexander Irwyn's command tent has been packed and he is now residing at the Keep at Horn Hill until the army is ready to march.
