Donnel slowly walked down through the rows of worshippers in the Starry Sept. After he had said the morning prayers he went to his chambers, where Jon was waiting, pouring over the the morning's news.

"There are rumours of that this Cult of the Dead God has been steadly growing. More so among the smallfolk, but numerous lords have been said to have joined themselves to the group as well." Jon said suddenly, looking down at a report.
Donnel sighed. "Perhaps it is time I left the confines of this keep Jon. I fear that I have become to complacent within these walls."

The next when Donnel was reading the Seven Pointed Star to the worshippers gathered in the black marble of Oldtown's grand sept, Archmaester Jeor, who was an expert in ravenry, entered the sept and wispered in Lord Hightower's ear. Lord Hightower, in turn went and spoke to Jon, who was busy attending to confessions. Jon came up to Donnel and whispered in his ear. Donnel nodded, and then turned back to his followers. "The Warrior has seen fit to return our Hero of the North to us. May we all welcome in this age of peace and plenty, and may the Seven smile upon you all." He closed the book and laid it on the altar.
===========================
Later on when Donnel was in his chambers he composed a letter, and then handed it to Jon who would send it to the rookery.

Alexander holding Loren and Corrine's hands, "I was hoping that a Septon or Septa could speak with my children about the Glory of the Seven while I met with Septon Petar," Alexander asks respectfully.

The Septon nodded, and extended his hands for the little ones.
"Come little one's, let us light our candles, and say our prayers."
Alexander is led back to an office, where Septon Petar, older and plumper than his last appearance, was putting on his vestments.
"Lord Regent ... What can I do for you?"

"Septon Petar," Alexander says with a smile. "The Sept looks beautiful," he motions for a seat, "May I sit?"

"Of course," The man gave a dismissive gesture towards a pile of books on theology, and a acolyte scooped them up and removed them. The Septon sat.
"She does look beautiful. What did you say the purpose of your visit was?"

"I wanted to thank the Seven for delivering us our victory in Dorne. While some believe that it is their own accomplishments, I know now that personal accomplishments are nothing compared to the Glory of the Seven."

The Septon nodded, "we should thank the Seven every day for their gifts to us, but I can see you are a devout man, Lord Irwyn. What did you have in mind exactly?"

Alexander pulled a parchment from his tunic. "Well my stewards are still finalizing the numbers but, this is an estimate." Alexander says handling a parchment to the Septon.
OOC: The number is about half of what is left from the Far Reaches share of the plunder taken from Dorne after rebuilding Sunspear and Lemonwood.

The Septon cocked one eyebrow.
"Milord... this is... very generous? Did you have any requests as to how this donation should be used?"

"It is only a small contribution compared to the blessings the Smith and Warrior have endowed upon me." Alexander said faithfully, "As for its use, I would like part of it to be set aside for the widows and children of our men who died in battle as it is only right that the church should take care of them and if some could be used to help spread the faith along the road network, that would be beneficial as the word of the Seven should not be a luxury for those who live in the city. Besides those two request I leave it in your capable hands to decide how best to do the Seven's work."

Septon Petar nodded. "I would like to use some of the funds to build an orphanage and school for orphans, and I know several areas in the Far Reach which are in need of rebuilt, or even new Septs. This is a generous undertaking, and I thank you." The Septon took the piece of paper, and put it in his pocket.
"Now that you have seen to the land, let us turn to, less temporal matters. What of your own soul Lord Irwyn?"
