"It is our understanding that you have Lord Farman held captive here. The man is wanted in the Iron Islands for the murders of Lords Hardon Kenning, Alagon Merlyn and Quellon Drumm, as well as an attempt to murder Lord Coldiron and Lord Harlaw himself."
"We ask that he be turned over to us, for judgement and punishment."

Lord Redwyne nodded gravely, "I had suspected that you would make this request. The accusation against Lord Farman is grave, and if true, he should die for it." Peyton sips his wine.
"However Lord Farman is also being held for treason against the King, and such a judgment should be made in the King's court, once the war is at an end. If we give him to you, can you promise not to judge and punish him until the conclusion of the war, when a trial can be held in King's Landing, for all of his crimes?"

Theon sighed, "we have little faith in the so-called justice of the greenlanders. Many a men go free because they can defeat a single opponent. We will not have him call for trial by combat and chance success."
"He will be judged, in the fashion of the Islands. If he survives a drowning, he will be a free man."

"I can accept that your idea of justice is different from our own Captain, but I'm afraid I don't have the authority to grant this. He must stand trial for the crime of treason. After such a trial, he would still need to win trials for the three murders and the attempted murders. Forms must be obeyed. I beg you, let us wait until this war is concluded, and when it is completed, you may petition the King for his judgment."

"This is most displeasing, were the situation reversed, the Iron Island would not hesitate to grant you your right to revenge. This is war, and he is an enemy, we already know him guilty of treason, he need stand no trial for that, and we know the punishment for treason. He can be killed now and it would be nothing less than what he deserves."

"It would be nothing less than he deserves Captain, please do not think that we disagrees with you there. Surely some compromise is possible? Let us say that he stands trial immediately. Here in the Arbor. You may act as a representative, or Lord Harlaw may send any representative he wishes. The case will be judged by the King's law, but if he is found guilty he shall receive the Iron Born sentence? That seems a fair compromise to me, and allies must be compromising if they are to be any alliance to speak of."

Theon nods, "so long as he may not call for trial by combat, we are happy to see our allies pass judgement over this creature."

"I was afforded no such right during my incarceration." Lord Peyton huffed. "That was a right reserved to the more... favored traitors. We can hold this event whenever you are prepared to make your case. If you have witness statements you'd like to include you may speak to my maester about sending a message home."

"Thank you, Lord Redwyne, we are prepared for this immediately, I have the full account of what is known from Lord Harlaw, and we have no witnesses to call. The maester who examined the bodies has come with me."

A handful of ships, including Lord Peyton's own Grapes of Wrath [i/] have been in the harbor for only a few hours.
Lord Peyton meets Lord Harlaw on the docks.
"Greetings and welcome to the Arbor Lord Harlaw."

Felryn smiles and grabs Lord Redwyne by the forearm, "call me Harlaw, or Felryn as you wish, I have heard great things of your prowess on the sea Redwyne, a man for even the Ironborn to respect they say."
"And I have heard you finished the job we started with the Dornish, those lemon suckers boats have haunted me ever since they fled before we could destroy them all at Sunspear!" he laughed loudly and clapped Lord Redwyne on theback.

"Let them sail the sands if they want a navy." Lord Peyton said with a grin, as he pointed the way up towards the castle.
"I was glad to hear that you had come. I understand you had some successes of your own against the Riverlands? Is it true what they say? That they should stick to ferries pushed along by poles?"

"They will need to, with our ships owning the seas," Felryn replied with a grin, as he followed Lord Redwyne to the keep.
"Aye, Riverlanders have always been like slugs, Redwyne, they shrivel up in salt."
