A beautiful castle on the banks of the Honeywine river only a few leagues north of Oldtown, Lord Tallahar Tyrell is the owner but with his rise to Lord Regent of The Reach his family is moving to Highgarden, but Haley Tyrell waits for her friend Lililth Bettley before she herself moves.

Lilith rides with Lady Haley from her band to Lady Haley's comfortable quarters in the Uplands estate. She was looking forward to tea, crumpets and the other accoutrements of a civilized life.

With Haley sitting in her comfortable chair with Lilith across from her a pot of tea and a an array of cakes the best the cooks in Uplands could come up with, also with the fire roaring the room is warm. "Lilith first off i wish to say sorry for the loss of your Husband i mourn for your loss but i know how it is to loss your family, my brother and father were taken from in the Great Plague."

The tea was utterly delicious and the cakes were divine. Lilith had grown so used to the humble fare of the camp that she was almost shocked by the taste of luxury once again but she was determined to enjoy every bite of them.

"Thank you," she said in a quiet voice in response to Haley's condolences. "My first husband I never cared for much, but Piers's loss has been hard, very hard." Piers once again popped into her mind, laughing and glowing as he did. She shook herself to rid herself of the image.

"Tell me how your children are doing Haley, they must be big now. I know Petra is growing like a weed."

"The pain will never leave you but only grow smaller, William is 6 and growing so quickly it amazes me, and Edmure is only 2 but a great delight to have." Taking a drink of tea and picking up another Lemon cake Haley turns to Lilith again. "I wish to have more children but Tallahar is never here so it has be some time since we have tried for another little one."

A rider arrives from King's Landing. He comes up to find Lilith Royce and Lady Haley. He bowed first to Lady Haley. "My lady, I have a letter for Lady Lilith, from Lady Elane Royce."

"Excuse me, Haley," said Lilith as she took the message.

Dear Auntie,

By the time you receive this, I will have long left Westeros. I am sorry, my dear, that our farewell could not have been face-to-face, as I would have preferred. But I felt a need to leave, after years of laboring for our House and the Vale. I will be in Braavos, and will take up a scholarly life in the pursuit of my own interests, free of politics and and danger for a time. I do not think I will ever return, but my kin, and you especially, will always have my love and be in my heart. If you ever cross the Narrow Sea, it should not be hard to find me. I don't plan to live under a rock. Give my love to Petra, and I will regularly send her pretty things. Pick them up at Runestone.

[Lilith Royce]

Lilith shared with Haley the news she had just received from her kinswoman Elane and then continued to chat about the children.

As they were talking, a ferocious thunderstorm lit up the sky. Every second another cloud lightened or a bolt forked or fingered from cloud to cloud or streaked in one solid shaft down to the ground. Haley graciously agreeded to shelter the members of the band in the Great Hall and soon the rabble of the camp had been transferred inside.

Petra got to meet Lady Haley and her children and was impressed.

"You're pretty, Lady Haley," she said.

Aeron had finally gotten some new robes from the Maester of the Uplands. They were roughly the same size and though Aeron had always kept his clothes clean they were starting to show ware and tare. He also shaved off the stubble which commonly adorned his face and had his hair cut. When he finally found Lilith and Haley he was barely recognizable.

Kneeling Haley looked into Petra eye's "As are you my dear child, now why don't you go play with William he can show you Uplands or you can play come into my castle"

Standing again Haley looks Lilith in the eye, "I have a very serious question to ask my dear friend. Would you agree to a marriage between William and Petra, i do not mean to sound royal, but Petra could not do better, William may be Lord of The Reach one day"

"I do not wish to limit Petra's choices at this point in her life, I suspect she will be a strong willed young woman and am reluctant to push her too hard in one direction. I will say, however, I would love such a connection with your family.

"If when William came of age he was interested in courting Petra, I certainly would welcome his suit. Let us give them time to interact and see what happens from there."

Ser Vikter Jast and twenty Goldhand Knights ride up to the Keep. In reply to the Gatekeeper's query, Jast answers, "I am here to see Lilith Royce, I have been sent by her husband."

With a note of sadness in her voice Haley says "That is fine my dear friend, and i am sure William well try. It is time it seems that we must be leaving this fine Keep uplands is now our former home it is time to travel to Highgarden."

"Haley," said Lilith with unsurpressed excitement in her voice, "Ser Viktar Jast has a message for me from my husband, My Husband!!!. My husband must be alive! By All The Holy Seven!!!"

She shakily goes to speak to Jast.
