A letter arrives via Raven from Oldtown for Ser Alexander Irwyn. It reads as follows:
Ser Alexander;
Take 500 men and travel north to Highgarden. There you will meet Ser Roland Royce and Lady Anne Royce. You will escort them to Oldtown at appropriate speed. They are extremely honored guests and should be treated appropriately.
Sincerely, Lord Francis Varner

Ser Alexander Irwyn reads the message, than thanks the Maester.
"Well no rest for the wicked, ay girl" Alexander says as he saddles up Ivy's Edge. The horse grunts slightly seeming to rebuke the young Knight. "Yes, I know your right," Alexander says "if I wanted an easy life, I da stayed home."
Alexander than leaves Bandallon for Highgarden to meet Ser Roland and Lady Anne Royce.

There was only a small funeral for Lord Blackbar, since most expected his death to occur long ago. Lord Rodney Blackbar sat alone with his brothers and sisters, their mother long since dead, and watch the Septon perform the ceremony. When it was over, he came by, his mustache drooping sadly.
"Hello Lord Bulwer, I greatly appreciate your coming."

"Lord Blackbar, allow me to offer my sincerest condolences. I too have lost many relatives of late, and I know the pain. It does not matter how inevitable one's death is, it still hurts those close when it finally happens. My grandfather - everyone knew he was close to death for over a year, but when it eventually came - everyone felt shocked." He looked sad for a moment.
"My grandfather and Lord Conan's generation. There can't be many of them left now. Times are changing," he said, in a manner strange for one of his youth.

Rodney chewed on his mustache grimly.
"Aye, that they are Tomas. Your a wise man for your age."
