A one story house, with a door and a single window leading to a narrow street, out into the darker side of Myr.

A hooded and cloaked figure walks quickly into the house. He arrives, and a woman approaches him. He tosses off his cloak, and the two spend a long moment looking at one another. They embrace, and finally speak.
"Danos, it has been far to long. Years." The woman speaks, her voice barely more than a whisper.
"I had to be certain, had to be sure that none would find me, or you. I would never be able to sleep if I was the cause of your death."
She nods and glances at the door, "Yes, but... but, god Danos, it has been to long. You left in the dead of night. The two of you, after Karla was put to death. I thought they had gotten you as well. God, I was scared. They searched the house, demanded that I tell them were the two of you had gone. I was scared, I said west, hoping to draw them off you. Damn it, you should have told me you headed west, I would have said elsewhere."
"Randal went west, I did not. I went east, we separated that night, Randal claimed to have family that could help us, but I couldn't leave you. I went east, and waited, and now... now I have returned."

The woman speaks, "Why, god, why, it has been nearly ten years, what happened, what went wrong. Randal and Karla, the two of them had everything planed out perfectly. The bandit and the knight. What went wrong?"
"One of Randal's men, he betrayed us, turned us over to the Magister. Randal cut his way out, and I ran for it. I don't think he ever forgave himself for leaving Karla there to die, but she accepted her fate. The city was in chaos, people rioting and looting, we had gotten most of the people behind us, but the Magister had the guard, and they cut down anyone who rose up. Randal urged me to go west with him, but I couldn't. We separated that night, and I never saw him again. I found passage on a vessel, and worked onboard a ship for the next five years, before our captain was caught smuggling, and again we barely escaped. Since then, it has just been job to job, trying to get back to Myr. But how have you been?"
