The Summer Sept of Pentos is one of the few five or six septs that exist east of Westeros. It is larger than the Sept-Beyond-the-Sea in Braavos, built around an airy plaza, with seven bell towers of gleaming red sandstone. The priests are Pentoshi converts, but they say the rites in the Common Tongue.

Elane and Brandon entered the sept, followed by Rose and Fredico. Elane wore a gown of burnt orange silk, a color that suited her startlingly well. It was rare for Elane to dress in the colors of House Royce, but today she did. Ser Brandon wore a beautiful blue tunic.
A caretaker held on to Viola.

Ser Brandon Buckler arrives dressed in a blue silk tunic, made of local fabric but cut in the Westerosi fashion. He is clean shaven and bright eyed. His two daughters are present, being attended by the caretaker Elane had originally hired in Braavos.

Elane spoke to the seniormost septon in rapid Pentoshi, and his weathered old face broke into a smile. He ushered them before the altar, and placed the Seven-Pointed Star on the stand before him. A blue and black cloak was found, in more or less the colors of House Buckler, for Ser Brandon to drape across Elane's shoulders during the ceremony.
Fredico and Rose stood as witnesses. Fredico looked a bit bemused.

Rose Storm was excited to see her father wed. Elane had always embraced her, and she had come to think of her as a mother. She was also excited to wear silk finery in bright colors. Her soft brown curls fell below her ears.

As the ceremony neared its end, Elane removed her orange and black maiden's cloak. Ser Brandon of House Buckler was given the cloak of his House to sweep across Elane's shoulders.
Elane turned slightly to give Rose a smile.

Elane kissed him back.
"I now pronounce Ser Brandon of House Buckler and Lady Elane of House Royce as man and wife," the septon said, in fluid Valyrian accents. "May the Seven bless your union forever."

After the simple ceremony, the new couple walk back towards Elane's hilltop house. "We will need to send word to your cousin and kin. They should know," Ser Brandon says, holding Elane's hand.

"Of course. I wish my kin had been here to see this. At least your daughters were there." Elane smiled down at Rose. "Did you like the wedding, sweetling?"

"I think your dress is even prettier than mine," Elane said, taking Rose with her free hand. "Now, let's go back to the house. We can celebrate by buying honeyfingers with peppers. They have different kinds in Pentos, and they're a bit spicier than the Braavosi ones." Elane knew Rose loved the spicy sausages.
