Ser Alliser reined in his cow. "What ho, goodman! Are those DRAGONS?"

"DRAGONS?" Ser Mimseval says in the exact same tone of voice, "Did you paint those yourself, Ser?"

"Have you seen the beasts you paint?" Alliser demanded.

The small man looked at the two knights and bowed, "Oh yes Masters I did. I saw them with mine own eyes. Four times."

"You did?" Ser Alliser looked like he couldn't believe his good fortune. "Where, my dear man? When?"

"I was swore to never let the direction and distance pass throught my lips." Said the little man.

"You do not understand, good man, we are on a holy quest. Surely you could tell us..." He glances sideways at Alliser, "Perhaps for some dragons of our own?"

The small man shakes his head 'no' vigorously, "I want nothing more to do with Dragons and that is for sure."

Alliser produces a couple of Westerosi gold dragons, the coins glinting in the sunlight. "What about these kind of dragons?"

The Man raised his eyebrows and smiled, "Masters... for ten times that I can show you to the very Tower they inhabit."

Alliser blanched. Twenty dragons was a lot of money. "Perhaps I could sing you a song?" he asked. "I am a very famous singer in the Sunset Kingdoms."

The man frowned, and moved away. Lifting his picutres high, he began to hawk them once more.

"Wait," Alliser said. "My good man, I...I will pay you. But I don't have that much money right now - I will have to get it slowly. Will you take me on my honor?"

The Little Man looks at Ser Alliser, "Honor? How much do you have now?"

"I am a knight of the Seven," Ser Alliser said, affronted. "My word is better than any gold. If I betray you, you may kill me and feed my heart to the flames. Ser Mimseval will vouch for my honor. So will any Westerosi in this city who know of the Knight of the Cow." Ser Alliser was probably unaware, unfortunately, that most people regarded Mad Alliser Redfort as too insane to be relied on. That was not necessarily true. He was just too insane to be relied on to betray someone.
"Here, take this," Ser Allliser, said, removing his ring and handing it down to the Little Man. It had a plain gold band, with green garnets. "Will that satisfy you?"
