"The drowned god? Or something else? I know not all the gods of foreign lands, only the Old Gods interest me. Only ill seems to come of dragons -- perhaps they have the right of it. Does this land need another burnt city?"

"No, but there are dangers Rhodri that you know almost nothing of. I have read the histories and I have read the mysteries, and I can tell you if we do not have a dragon when we need one, Westeros is doomed." Nehmen chuckles, "No matter what you Aranya Royce manages to do."

"And what causes this need? Will it happen in our lifetimes?"

Staring at Lord Rhodri for several mintues, "I have sworn a pact Lord Rhodri with men willing to do what is necessary to save our land. There are things we swore to tell no one. You are a man of honor and integrety, if I convinced you that to save the realm you must go down and cut the baby from your wives womb; would you?"

"To save the realm?" Rhodri looks down at his hand...the one that is missing. "I would do whatever was necessary. The gods would demand it of me."

Nehmen looks hard at Rhodri, "I think you just may be telling the truth. I will talk to my allies, we are always looking for another good man. I can not tell you what you need to hear. But talk to Elena Plumm, she can give you an idea of the danger awaiting us in the next winter."

"Elena Plumm? Baldwin's girl, Jason's widow? Where can I find her?"

"She is staying at the Red Keep for now, she is recovering from the brutal betrayal of her brother. Her husband was murdered. She has daily visitors, but she does not want to leave her room. I am hoping something pulls her out of her misery." Nehmen, "I have tried all of the healing arts I have been trained, but her injury is mental and emotional."

"I will see her when I can, and I will try and be gentle. I understand mourning."

Nodding Nehmen said I will be in contact my lord, Good day." Nehmen walks out.
