"Right now, we know he has minimal naval strength at King's Landing. We have heard reports that a Braavosi fleet may en route, however."

Felryn nods, "let us send out scouting ships to confirm this report. The Blackwater Bay is tight, and we would be unable to use our massive numbers properly anyway, we should leave the bulk of the strength here to protect against the Braavosi. The war may not be over when Andry falls."
"How many ships do you command?"

"Fifty of my own from the Crownlands fleet and fifteen from the Vale."
OOC: I don't recall if Grafton gave some of the King's fleet (if there was one) to Barclay? If he did, does anyone remember how much?

"Fifty of my own from the Crownlands fleet and fifteen from the Vale." ? OOC: You'd have 40 of your own. 10 of the ships called up were from Lord Velaryon. That's me! At least that's what was said in the scenario 'Raising the Crownlands' on Jan 9th In the time it took to ready his men and his ships, Emmon received letters of compliance from Lord Velaryon and the Castellan at Dragonstone and reassurances that they would be shortly sending each 1,200 men and on 10 ships each towards Sharp Point. Those ships are currently at Duskendale with my 1,200 men cut from your host of 6,000. I've since supplemented those 1,200 men with another 800 men from Driftmark

Andrew was escorted up to meet with Lord Barclay. Andrew had been busy the last few days, spending time with his crew, getting to know them so he could be a better captain. Fortunately he had not been needed before, but had now been summoned to meet with Lord Barclay.
"Yes, Lord Barclay. You wanted to speak with me?"

"Royce", the young lord said as he bowed his head to the captain. "I asked you here so I could make you an offer. You're more familiar with the Vale Lords than I, and I need a capable commander to lead the Vale squadron of ships. Are you up to the task?"

"I am sorry to say I have to decline your offer, Lord Barclay. I have just come to Westeros and knows only my family, so I'll be of no help there I'm afraid. Admiral Sunderland is the suitable choice if you ask me, he seems like a competent commander. He'll probably get you where you want."

"Ah, that is my mistake then. I am just now picking up your light accent." Barclay sat himself in a chair, "Did you outfit your ships in the Free Cities?"

"No, I was just given command of the Kingfisher, Lord Barclay. I used to be a trader in the Free Cities. I wanted to see my father's home, so I came here, never expecting to be thrown into this. Sure, I heard rumours of the war and turmoil over here, but I never believed I would be in the middle of it."

"My apologies then, Ser Royce", Barclay said as his cheeks turned a soft red, "I am deeply interested in the culture of the Free Cities, and I'd be highly interested in hearing of your life there but I am afraid I've been plagued with a large amount of duties. I must return to scouting reports, but thank you for your time, captain."

Andrew bowed.
"Maybe I can tell you the stories when we have won this war then. If there's not anything else I can do to help, I'll go down to my ship and prepare for the battle that lies ahead."

"I would enjoy that quite a bit, captain, I've heard surprisingly little of the Free Cities lately. And yes, you may be dismissed to your duties."

Lord Barclay quickly came to Harlaw's room. "Harlaw, I just got word from my scouting ships...no ships are at King's Landing or in the area. I say we move quick to blockade their port."
