And I don't want to waste my time going to Ten Towers to find out what the lord my father has sworn loyalty to is doing while a man of my qualities can be used somewhere else. Now who the fuck are you?" Darryn suppresses a smile, happy with the way he handled that situation, yet afraid to have overdone it.

[Erik]

"A Harlaw man doesn't ask questions on Pyke. Especially a Harlaw man who sounds like as much of a damn fool as you." The guard turns to one of his fellows, and tells him, "Tell Wynch we've got someone interested in dressing in motley for him standing out here."

The second guard runs off to find Wynch, who makes his way out a few minutes later.

"What the hell do you want, boy?" The older man growls.

Mustering all the dignity he can, Darryn looks at the man and says:" Excuse me for interrupting you, but I have come home from raiding and found a situation quite uncommon to me. I'd like to save my crew the way to Ten Towers if I can and set sails for the Riverlands immediately, but I couldn't without any news from House Harlaw, and I was told in the city that you would be the man to talk to, who can tell me more of King Eriks conquest and how the situation for us Ironborn is right now."
Always judge a man by those who follow him, those where the words of his father.
If they prove true, then Theon Wynch couldn't be a good man, seeing as who his guards are.
And if he's not one, why bother to help King Erik?But how long was it that any Ironborn has ever come so far?

[Erik]

"The King's in the Riverlands. Marching on Raventree Hall is what I heard last, to see if the Blackwoods will bend the knee. The North's with us too, they want freedom as much as we do. I'm sure you and your crew would be welcome."

[Darryn Bryne]

Finally some useful information.
"Thank you, Wynch. I guess I'll set sails for Raventree Hall, then- but in the Old Way
a man was loyal, and I wish to be- yet I yearn for freedom. I must ask you, and please answer truly- what are the Harlaws doing? For my father's loyalty lay with them, and I have inherited his ship and his duties.Only if they don't fight for our freedom I'd join King Greyjoy.Excuse me if I sound arrogant, but....I've been on the sea for quite some time, and have become blunt in talking."

[Erik]

"Have you? You sound like a damn poet, boy. Might help if you pulled the cock out of your mouth. I don't know about the Harlaws. And you might have trouble sailing to Raventree Hall, it's a bit inland. Seagard would be better."

[Darryn Bryne]

"I sound like one because I don't know how to properly talk. But I start to remember now.
Which doesn't help, I need to leave for Seagard.I guess that King will take any man willing to help?"

[Erik]

"The King knows that any Ironborn will do his duty."

[Darryn Bryne]

"I'll be going then." Darryn goes to Pyke Harbour, commands his trusted men to find the others and inform them to be ready to join the war of King Greyjoy by the next morrow.

[Horas]

Joramun Goodbrother walks to the gates of Pyke and stands before them. One of his men steps up beside him and bellows up at the guards on the wall, "Open for Joramun Goodbrother, Lord Paramount of the Iron Islands!"

[The Smith]

The man moved forward and yelled down, "Hey mate, who are you?"

[Horas]

"Wex of Great Wyk, who the fuck are you?" The man calls up again.

[The Smith]

"Ulrich One-Leg." The man called down, "You want in Wex? Open the gate for Wex of Wyk." Slowly the gate opened.

[Horas]

Wex looks perplexed. Joramun steps forward, a scowl on his face.

"We will enter," he says, walking towards the gate. "Summon your castellan, Ulrich One-Leg, I will have words with him."

[The Smith]

Ulrich shouts down, "He died in the Riverlands. With the old boss."
