"Well I guess it's to Castle Black." And they ride off.

"How long do you think it will take until we see the walls of Castle Black?"
OOC: Let's move the conversation to a new thread or Castle Black after the answer.

He laughed as they left Eastwatch-by-the-Sea behind them.

Salvatore Dalt was too drunk to remember the passage of the two.

The snow storm that had hit Castle Black with a fury now spreads across the Wall and starts moving further south. Heavy flakes blanket the world, creating white out conditions. A bitter cold cuts through clothing and skin.

A young recruit, Toddy, a pickpocket from King's Landing, was walking the watch at King's Landing when he noticed the squall coming at the tower. He called down to his compatriots that a storm was coming fast but he wasn't relieved of his duty. You have to have someone watching even during storms.
Eastwatch soon needed another watchman. Toddy was blown off the wall and landed in a little heap. His disappearance wasn't noticed until a few hours after his shift ended. By then all that was left was a blood stain at the bottom of the tower. His body was gone.

"Toddy!" Blum cried as he spotted the familiar figure of his friend tromping back through the snow towards the wall. There was nobody else with that tall, thin, slightly hunched figure that Toddy had. He went down to the gate to greet him, his heart filled with joy. When Toddy came closer, though, he could see that he wasn't alive, he was a walking corpse with dead blue eyes.
Blum shouted, threw stones at Toddy, and ran, trying to close the gate behind him. But the Toddy corpse was too strong. Arrows began to hail down on Toddy but they didn't stop him. He pushed past Blum, swiping him down with one hand and started progressing through the tunnel and then towards the mess hall at the base of the stairs. Blum was chasing him, throwing things at him, shouting and the hall emptied out. Twelve men slashed and sliced. Toddy got two men, Do and One Eye but the remaining managed to cut Toddy into small pieces.
The Lord Commander ordered the all three, Do, One Eye and Toddy to be buried in the Godswood and sent raven to Castle Black and Shadow Tower.
He got back a raven saying the dead should be burned. But when they went to exhume the bodies, they were already gone, even the pieces of Toddy were gone.

A ship flying the royal banner arrives at Eastwatch-by-the-Sea's port, and a small group of men, including Ser Jaymes Farman, are ushered onto land by several men in gold cloaks aboard the ship. All of the men disembarking have commited some crime or other, to warrant being sent to the Wall. They are taken to the office of the Commander of Eastwatch.

Ser Mort Farrow was the Captain of recruits for Eastwatch, and he examined this particularly pathetic batch with a worrisome look, the kind that graced the face of the great poets before they recited their compositions.
"If you do not freeze to death, you will be killed by a Wildling arrow. Or starve, did I mention freeze? You'll spend more time holding your cock than a sword, but you'll use it less often. Of course fortunately for you cowards you've come to the one place where pissing in your pants is just considered a novel way to stay warm. Welcome to the Fucking wall gentlemen! You batch of recruits will be in the bunk house on the second story. Follow Brother Hargold and for god's sake, try not to slip and fall. We get preciously few recruits as it is."

Rurke eyed the commander with disdain. The knight may talk a hard game, but he bet he could take him in a fist fight.

Tuske followed the man up to the bunkhouse and surveyed the pathetic room. "What the fuck is this!?" he roared. "You call those beds!? Look like pissing boxes to me!". Tuske kicked one of the so called beds and then sat down.

Rurke laughed and kicked his own bed. "You're fucking stupid, you know it?" he said to his brother, still laughing.

"Your the fucking stupid one, you whoreson!" Rurke towered over his brother and raised his fist. "You want me to smash your fucking face in!?" he roared.
