"Come," Elane said. They climbed into the armored carriage - Elane paused as she entered, remembering that Ollo had gifted it to her - and were silently driven away.

OOC: I'll say that Elane and Brandon have returned from their trip.
Elane nods. Accompanied by Ser Brandon, she leaves for Ollo's house.

"Is something bothering you, mistress?" Ser Brandon asks, watching Elane read her letter.

Elane looked up at Brandon. "It's a letter from my sister, Aranya," she said, showing it to him. "It's - oh, it's madness. Lord Tyrell, the son of Lord Gathor, is the man responsible for the attack on me." Her brown eyes darkened with anger. "And apparently he collaborated with Lord Regent Randal Lannister to kill Ollo Tregario. Why, in the name of the gods?"

"I don't even know Gathor's son," Elane continued, shaking her head. "I never even met Lord Gathor himself. Rhodri did once, long ago, but not me. We'll have to get to the bottom of this somehow."
She sank into a chair wearily. "This has been very tiresome to deal with. But since Lord Barret is apprehended, I suspect I am safe for now."

After their discussion, Elane and Brandon went to the gardens and the riding ring. Rose was practicing on her pony, and a nurse held little Viola. Another servant had brought out a platter of sweetmeats and honeywine while the riding master instructed Rose. Elane looked at the scene wistfully.
"Rose, my dear," she called. "Come over a here for a moment."

"It will be an adventure," Elane said smiling. "And we'll be on beautiful white ships with high sails."

Rose bites her lip to think. "Are we going home, da?"

"No, daughter..." Brandon says with a sigh. "Perhaps someday. But for now we will travel to another great city with great sights and spires and beauty. You will love it there."

"Your father wants to see the world," Elane said. "We won't be able to take that dappled grey pony, but I'll buy you a new one. Now, run along inside and help the maids pack your things."
