Hi, new Blackwood here. How do you folks recommend I catch up on past events so I will know what is going on. I don't even know who my king is!

Hey Uncle! You are actually my uncle I am the Bastard of Francis Blackwood, just barely old enough to have me being born with Francis at age 14. It was a real stretch to get me that old *takes a big breath* King... Lmao I don't even know. He is the toddler son of the Late King Callen Baratheon, died because of the late Lords Barret Tyrell and Aaron Fossoway. The Reach attempted to secede but was stopped, and the King died in the midst of the struggle. His son is about.. 4 I'd say? And Lord Piers Bettley was the Lord Regent, but was grievously wounded recently. The Lord Hand is Lord Horas Blackwood, lord of Riverrun. Uhh.... Lord Warren Blackwood is the Lord Paramount of the Riverlands, ruling from Raventree Hall. Most people are still in the Westerlands, from the great tourney Lord Randal Lannister held. The North is ruled by Lord Lyas Bolton, Lord Regent of hte North until Lord Stark come sof age. He is maybe 10 or something? Oh, big change. The Reach was changed. It was split in half to cut down its great strength, and is now the Mander which is all the lands of the Reach in the east, going all the way to the Mander river. The Far Reach is everythign west of the Mander River, and the seat is Oldtown and the Hightowers, whereas the Mander's seat is Highgarden still. Lord Rindwynd Tyrell is the Regent until Lord Barret's kids come of age. A distant Hightower cousin is going to become Lord once he is old enough, but for now Lord Francis Varner is the Lord Regent. *Takes another big breath* Dorne separated long ago, and is ruled by Princess Emelia Martell. I believe it is now part of the Seven Kingdoms. Uhhh.... Oh yeah, the Arryns died out long ago, leaving the Royce's as the Lords Paramount of the Vale. We are pulling out of several wars and civil wars, with another possibly ahead of us. With Lord Regent Pier's attack, he is likely to die. Lord Hand Horas is a prime subject, obviously because the Regent would have more power than just the Hand. The Boltons have pissed the Ironborn off with Rape charges, etc, and the Ironborn have a great hunger for Bolton blood to wet the cold landscape of the North. I think that pretty much sums it up.

Ok, I posted Kentyn's arrival at Raventree Hall, but left it hanging. He is looking to talk to the Lord or Castellan, should I just leave it at that and have somebody else write for Lady Blackwood or Ryan Blackwood (still not quite sure who is in charge there)?

Welcome If you're lucky, Tytos will read you the family motto. House Blackwood Motto: Stop crying, you're a Blackwood! Also, I'll have Tytos send word to Raventree Hall for some more soldiers. Around 20, and I'll RP Ryan Blackwood the Castellan and have him tell you to lead the men to the Riverlands. Sound good Kentyn?

I played Ryan because I was there, but if any of the rest of you wants to use him, go ahead.

Yeah well, I didn't want the Motto to be too long. It becomes hard to shout out as a war cry when it becomes a mouthful.

I think "Shut your face, Blackwoods don't cry!" will suffice And I'm being annoying for no reason at all.

I think since the hammer has fallen, we might want to scrounge up troops incase the North gets mad over the capture and deaths of Bolton men.
