A line of archery butts was set up across the south side of the Market Square. Each competitor got to unleash three volleys, the three best shots of the day (highest number rolled) would advance.
Archery (All compete, eliminate three archers first round)

The last three archers will fire three more shots, and the contestant with cumulative best score will be champion, and the next will be second and so on.
