ooc-I know a lot has happened since every signed up so any who wish to pull themselves let it be known now.
Also Crake to keep your self from going crazy, I think we should do this the same way you did the archery test. Assign a goal, roll for each person once, add any modifer, then eliminate those who failed. And so on. If you need to knock some attackers off that is cool too.

I had wanted to add Ser Brandon Buckler to the pageant since he got snipped from the joust, if there is a spot.

I think Garrett Redfort will have to pull out of the contest as he's leaving to Oldtown with Donal Tyrell the same day.

I think I have kept up with all the updates, and I moved Lord Yew Higher up the list so Crake won't cut him, if he cuts any one.
I don't want you guys to miss his 'how to take a minature fort when attacking with a larger force during a pagaent in summer speech'. That is one great speech.

A couple northmen have joined the defending team.

Can you elaborate on what goes on in the pagaent? Specifically anything I would need to include in a blurb. Also, are the blades blunted or are they sharp?

A pagaent is just a melee, but with different goals. So this one is holding a fort, the defenders win by holding, the attackers win by taking.
I think blunted swords, but I am not sure. What ever a melee has.

ooc: I suddenly have a mental image of Takeshi's Castle - can't we give them water pistols?

OOC: Hehe. Alright, and the blades aren't blunted then, as they aren't blunted in the melee.

OOC: So kind of like King of the Hill, but in the middle ages?

The tourney fields of Casterly Rock were converted into a large mock battlefield. In the middle of the field was a ten by ten wooden fort with eight defenders standing inside and beside it. Nineteen attackers surrounded the fort with sharpened blades. This was a tourney, but as already shown in the past few days- death is a looming possibility. This is in the forefront of many minds as Lord Baldwin Lannister commenced the match.

Ser Bardwyn Doggett attempted to rally the defending force but he failed miserably, losing the attention of his team-mates quickly. The defenders unofficially chose to work in small groups to defend the fort. Ser Bardwyn Doggett, Ser Xavier Hill, Lord Konn Karstark, and Ser Felwick Gower stood in front of the fort's open doorway. The Greatbear, the Lord Stark, and Isaac Glover stood to the right of the fort, with their swords drawn while the other three (Ser Robert Royce, Gideon Caron and Ser Yorrel Serry stood together to the left of the fort).

Warren Blackwood's attempt at leadership worked better, with his attackers forming four groups. Finding that the left side of the fort was defended by less skilled knights than the right, two groups were to focus on the left side, one on the middle and one on the right.
In the first two groups approaching the left side were: Warren Blackwood, Ser Brandon Buckler, Ser Kennos Keath, Ser Ronald Tyrell, Lord Rindwynd Tyrell, Ser Ulster Foote, Ser Leland Hetherspoon and Ser Benfred Vance. Attacking the center were: Lord Danforth Yew, Lord Rhodri Royce, Ser Kevan Mallister, and Ser Alliser Redfort. The remaining attackers ( Ser Tommen Redfort, Lord Tallahar Tyrell, Ser Olver Banefort, The Hung-man, Ser Rober Broom, Ser Fianlyn Drox,Ser Errent Falwell, and Ser Yeager Hawthorne) focused on the group of northerners to the right.

OOC: Interesting. It would appear I may be fighting my own Master-at-Arms. We'll discuss his salary after the match.
