Ser Marten is with the army as well.
"So Lord Bolton, does it seem like it wiill come to war at all, or will those flowerlords all come begging for mercy?" -He asks, disappointed.

Damien Fossoway rides up amongst the men, asking to speak with Lord Bolton, he wears no insignia that would affiliate himself with the Reach.

Lord Bolton was in his tent, and when Marten spoke he only looked up for a second. "No, the war is over."
Damien Fossoway was led to the tent of Lyas Bolton. Though under normal circumstances a man like Damien would not be searched, ever since the assassination of Lord Flint in the Red Keep, Lyas had been cautious. Lyas was under no illusion that the Reach lords would be coming after him, and the murder had given him a rude awakening. Guards were posted all around his tent in a circle, and within Lyas kept his dogs, who were quick to bark at the approach of anyone.
Damien was searched and disarmed, and then asked to take his armour off.

Damien happily obliged before coming in.
"Greetings Lord Bolton, I hope I find you well." He says cooly as he enters. "My name is Damien Fossoway, of the green apple, though I take no part in this war my father joined, and am glad to see they are being brought to justice."
"But I wish to speak with you on a different matter, concerning affairs in the North. It is my understanding that the Umbers in the north are still in rebellion of your rule, if this is the case, I thought you may require my help. I am related to the late Lord Umber through my mother, who was his sister. If you required someone with Umber blood to join your cause for the sake of appearances or otherwise, I would be happy to do so. I'm also sure there a number of different ways I could assist you." At those last words he gave off the slightest of grins.

Marten seems to be a bit disappointed upon the news that war is over. "Well, I am sure you will find a suitable task for me, Lord Bolton. As you suggested before, I shall prove that the wolf blood flows strong within me, as well as the Lion`s."
Later, Marten eyes Damien suspiciously when he enters the tent.
"Oh, so you think that Lord Aaron`s fate was justified, and you bear no ill will towards the Regent of the North?"-He grins slightly.

Damien regards Marten with a bored expression. "A traitor must expect a traitor's death, I am hardly the only Reachman who did not support Lord Aaron's unprovoked aggression and murder of the King."

"And you are hardly the only Reachman who would be glad to see me dead." Lyas Bolton said. "Someone tried to kill me in the Red Keep. It was only because I switched places with Flint that I'm still alive, who has a better motive for murder than a Fossoway?"

Damien shrugs. "The red apple and the green apple are connected only in name. And I have little enough love for my own House as it is, I spare none for Aaron and his kin. But I did not come to debate my allegiances. I only came to offer my services to you and through serving you claim some gains for myself, my lord." Damien looks calmly into Bolton's eyes.
"Someone tried to kill you, you say. Perhaps I would be capable of preventing such a possibility arising again. For Barret I helped him develop a network of men dedicated to removing spies from the Reach. I could find out if there are any disloyal men within your own forces."

"Their are always disloyal men under my rule. The Umbers for one, possibly the Flint's for another. No, why take an apple when I already have a lion?" Lyas has a small hint of a smile on his face when he says this, but he doesn't even look at Marten. He spoke to the squire beside him in his quiet, raspy voice. "Show the apple out and send him on his way. If he comes into camp again...clap him in irons."

Damien snorts at the mention of Marten. "I suppose if that is the quality of men who serve you, I would do better finding someone who is a keener judge of character, anyway. I can find my own way out. Good day to you, Lord Regent."
OOC: Booo, that could have been a fun storyline to follow.

"My, my, our insolent apple friend seems quite desperate."- Marten laughs.
"Oh, and what are exactly qualities of mine that you doubt? I respond to such insults in the language of the blade, so better mind your words."- He approaches Damien, lowering his voice.

OOC: Assuming they're outside the tent now.
"Of course you do, you have only served to prove my point that you are dull and brutish. Take no offence from it, the world needs dull and brutish people." He says in his typical drawl, while walking away.

Marten laughs. - "Oh, someone like you can hardly insult me with such feeble attempts! My blood is among the purest in the realm, remember this, appleboy!" -He shouts after him, and turns back to return to the tent.
"It was wise of you to turn him away, Lord Bolton, he certainly had motivation to cause you great harm. Meanwhile, I am ready to aid you in bringing order to the North. Traitors and criminals shall be crushed...and you will have peace in your realm, and as well as the friendship of House Lannister." Ambitious young Knight smiles darkly.

Damien smirks as he continues to walk off without bothering answering. I thought Lannisters were suppose to be clever.
