OOC: It looks as though I should've come through here before arriving in the Bloody Gate, so I'll post here ex post facto, in an effort to carry on the tone of the thread.

Roland's men neared the edge of the Vale and the mountains fell away on either side. Ser Daven's reports came in frequently, but the clans were more than intimidated by such a large force and no contact was made.
Daven's flankers spread out as the mountains did and formed a more cohesive pocket about the flanks of the infantry.
Roland sensed that they were nearing Lord Harroway's Town and took 20 men and rode ahead to make contact. Security was unusually tight at the gates into the town because of the strife going on. Roland informed the guard that an army from the Vale was marching through to join the forces loyal to the king gathering near King's Landing, and the army was permitted passage.
Roland's outriders rode through and turned south, maintaining contact with Lord Wydman's forces throughout

The infantry and lancers overwhelmed the Lord Harroway's Town and turned its streets into a mire. Eventually they worked their way through the city and turned south, marching for king's landing.

"Tytos" Alexander says with a smile his head raising from some maps of the Riverlands. "I am glad you came. I need to find the whereabouts of the Northern Army. There have been reports of the occassional looting and burning. While I am not one to put much stock in rumors. I do not think your countrymen will do well with a roaming foreign army on its soil." Alexander pauses, "Do you think you could have your men organize some scouts to see if we can locate them? I need good men, as we want to avoid a fight if possible."
