This part of the castle is reserved for the Lord and his family. It is complete with expensive if not overly lavish bedrooms, and is in the north tower of the castle, seperate from the rest.

Steffen enters his chamber. Daena is already in bed, and they dont waste time in the process of heir-making. After it is done, Steffen strokes her silver hair, lying back in the bed.

"Tell me of your kin, this Aemon in particular. I have not met the man who may be our king sooner rather than later, i would know more of him."

"Aemons a good man. Not like you." She giggled at that, before shrugging. "He will make a good king, if he lives."

"He is ill?"

"No, but Maerys doesnt like him. Hes jealous. And people Maerys doesnt like dont live long, whether they are kin or not."

"He's ambitious then, this Maerys? Id like to meet him. If the two were to feud, i would like to know which is the stronger."

"That would be Maerys. Although he is unpopular, and Aemon would be a better king."

"And who would you like me to support?" He smiled at her. She reached out a finger and stroked his face. She smiled back.

"I dont mind. I prefer Maerys though. He is better looking."

Steffen chuckled at that.

"As good a reason as any for supporting a lord." He got up. "I have work to do. If you want, you may travel to the market place, but make sure you take guards with you. Its not safe." He left the room, headed for the south tower.
