I don't know how much of the Tyrells you guys have read. I wondered how much of Tall's tale of not signing and just going along because Haley was kidnapped had any presence in the Tyrell conversations and I didn't see it in the pages I looked at in discussions about Callen or in the War Room. Tall did hold off signing Fossoway's decree until, oh about the bottom of the first page. He also, interestingly, was told to rampage and kill the peasants but says at the time he had qualms.

No, Tallahar's basically in full denial mode now. He wasn't one of the main instigators of the rebellion but he wasn't adverse to joining up when he thought that they had a good chance of victory. Once that went out the window with Aaron's death and Lyas' betrayal then he realised his number was up so he's in full damage-limitation mode now.
He's lucky in the sense that no-one was in the room with Aaron & he when he signed the decree so he can lie about how he was forced to do so.

Personally I think it was tremendously irresponsible of Crake to do what he did and then ditch Aaron and leave the others hanging in the breeze. It lead to the death of Cole and left the other 3 Tyrell PCs with not many options bar surrender and survival. Although in Tallahar's case he was a bit stupid to go through with the raid on Nightsong which happened after Aaron died. Probably good RP'ing though as Tallahar probably wouldn't have heard about it until afterwards.

Yeah, Fossoway should be facing the wrath of the committee rather than Tall, though Tall's long time desire and willingness to murder all and sundry has set him up for reprisal. I'm enough of a RL pacifist that even fictional genocide sticks in my craw.

I know he wants to do Trial by Combat but I'd actually love to see Tall at the wall. I think he'd be a great commander against the Others when the time comes (maybe we could do an attack of the Others over Christmas break when people have time to post more, though of course some people will be away from their computers).
Hmmm...Thanksgiving Friday might be a fun day to do something drastic as well.
The other thing to think about is a "five year plan"--once we've done the Others raid, what then?

Back to Tall--what would you guys think of me stealing Haley as NPC, having her come to KL and having a tearful conversation with Tall?

Don't steal unless you have to. Ask Tall first, I think he would be fine with it.

Also I just have to add, Tallahar has been going around and making enemies straight through the game. Everyone wants to put a knife in him now. It is just desserts if you ask me.

I feel for Tallahar, I really do. Rhodri and he are probably the only survivors from the very start of this game (yes, Lillith too I suppose!) and as main characters at that. Elane is still around but Aranya has switched so to me that is a 'minor death'

Am happy to ask him, just wanted to clear the general scenario with you. Haley is going to spit bullets and going to argue furiously for going to the wall.
