It is time to talk of serious things. Should we kill Callen?
His blatant attack on the Sea Lord makes him a giant target for retribuation. And quite frnkly I was never fond of having a player be King anyway.
My thought on this is to Kill him. Maybe I am being unreasonable about this. But what do you think?

I certainly think he's become high enough profile to do so and his assassination of the Sealord has open a world of shit. My only concern would be two things: a) the succession - what should happen is that Rodrick becomes King. As he is about 1 that makes Anya Stark the Queen Regent. Now she's an uberbitch so should we give her the Kingdom essentially? b) Callen's reaction to this. I know we've warned and warned him about this so it won't be a massive surprise but it'll be interesting to see if he does come back with another character or not On the whole, yes I agree. I'm slightly concerned how it'd look if we off'd Nymeria as well so soon after though so I might hang fire on that one. If we want to have the Cult of the Dead God get some victims, I'd go for Kit Kidwell. Great swordsman but that doesn't save you from poison. Plus that way the Cult get their hands on some VS (Dark Sister - even the name sounds perfect for them) and we rid ourselves of Barret harping on about him. He can be the first to find out though as he's sending spies looking for him

Yeah, I think I am not going to kill Nymeria. Lance is going to run away and train her. That way when she gets back she will be kick ass. I think Emelia will like that. I plan on telling her. myself about Nymeria OOC.
I think the Queen and the Small council would be the rulers. That is the law.
Callen can quit, but we warned him. And he is hardly ever on any more and it is unfair for the King/government to be so slow to the other players.

Yeah, I agree. Shall we do it a few days after the Starfall? That gives some Green Dream time as well - up to Aranya, Emelia or Rhod if they actually warn him though

From the North you mean? Depends how long he pisses about up there really. If he's still there say, this time next week, then we off him whereever he is

Alright... I also say we kill a kingsguard or two and replace them with faceless men. That is how they get him.

Ok - current status of the Kingsguard: Ser Giles Grandison - injured and with Ser Miles Oldflower in the North with the King. Ser Erik Tyrell - with Anya in Duskendale - may be heading back to KL (we should chuck in Edrick Dondarrion there too) Lord Commander Tully and Ser Amdle Flowers - in KL
So if we kill/replace Edrick & Amdle when they get back to KL? Also do we want to kill any Kingsguard in the King's defense?

The sad answer is yes. Do one or two always guard him.
The way I figure it going down, is Fake Erik is on duty, and fake Amdle shows up. if there is another Kingguard on duty they kill him, other wise they enter and kill King Callen in bed. We can roll the fight they are going to be better then he is.

There's normally at least 2 or more usually 3 Kingsguard with the King. The Queen usually has 2 with her leaving the Lord Commander and the other KG to get on with other duties

With one dead and one wounded... two then. Do we want the other one to be a victim or just the two assassins. what the hell kill Grandison or Dondarrion

Also... I am starting to chicken out. DO you still feel the same.
The Bald Short man is Lord Delinal in Braavos, and he is going to try and trick Callen's NPC to admit it was Callen who killed the Sea Lord, by sayin how bold and impressive it was. If the guy plays along, Callen is for sure dead.

Up to you really. Callen's been a poor king so some birds should begin coming home to roost but happy to back off killing him if you are. If he starts interferring directly in other Kingdoms by assassination again though I think they'll have to retaliate out of sheer self-interest to ensure they survive!

No, Callen was warned now he has to die. I found some resolve talking it over with a friend.
Do you want to have him wake up and roll combat against two grandmaster assassins or die in his sleep. I would prefer the comabt just as a hey we gave him the slim chance. But now that I think about it, he will not be armed, and I do not think he will have a sword and that means he can not roll high enough to actually beat them just delay the inevitable. But we might anyway just to see how it happens.
Which Kind guard die?
Right now I am thinking Kill Anselm and Edrick to be replaced, they kill Erik who is also on guard. Then Oldflower, Tully and Grandison kill them in revenge, maybe with wounds maybe not.

Depends where we do it really. If it's in his quarters it's unlikely that he'll have that many Kingsguard nearby so if they replace one of them they should be able to fairly silently kill the other and get Callen in his sleep. If you want to make it more dramatic or make a point, you could have him assassinated while he's holding audience but that would make it a virtual suicide mission for the killers so perhaps a compromise of attacking him as he's out & about on an official engagement. Perhaps the investiture of the new Kingsguard member? That would get all the other white brothers going with the royal family. Something along these lines perhaps: Callen riding with 3 Kingsguard, Erik, fake Edrick & fake Anselm. Anya & toddlers are a little behind in a carriage with Lord Commander Tully. Ser Giles and Ser Miles ride in attendence, either side of the carriage. Fake Edrick attacks Erik Tyrell, quickly cutting him down unawares whilst fake Anselm attacks the king - maybe killing his horse to stop him bolting off? Anyway, Ser Giles and Ser Miles may charge forward to try and help - Lord Tully's stuffed as he's in the carriage - by the time he gets out it'll be too late. This perhaps gives Callen too good a chance to get out of it but what do you think? I reckon with Callen on foot and the two assassins ahorse, he's pretty stuffed as it'll take a precious few seconds for the other 2 KG to make any play. Once they finish off the king, they can try and gallop off to escape. After all, they just need to get out of sight long enough and they can become someone else Or we could just have them fight to the death. Miles may be legendary but Giles is only a Master I think so 2 GM against the pair could be a very even match until Tully gets in on the action (and whatever other guards/PCs are nearby of course)
